    Columbia, South Carolina is a wonderful place to live. With a lot to offer everyone, this part of the world is becoming increasingly popular. However, those who have never been to Columbia may not know what is so good about it. This article explains just some of the best things about living in this part of the world.     The Weather

    The weather in Columbia is something that not a lot of people expect. Columbia has something of a subtropical climate that’s humid. Columbia has a history that dates back to the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. If this was not interesting enough, the city also had a lot to do with the Civil Rights Movement.

    It’s thought that European settlers came to Columbia in 1540 before it was named the capital of South Carolina in 1786.

    A lot of people are aware of the great food that is found in Charleston and Greenville. However, the food in Columbia is just as good. It does not matter what type of food you love, it’s likely that you will find it here. In addition to delicious restaurants and cafes, Columbia is home to some great food-related events every year. It’s worth checking them out if you can.

    The Friendly People

    You may have heard that the hospitality in the south is great. This is thanks to the friendly people that you can find all over the city. One of the reasons why Columbia is so friendly is that it’s full of people who have moved from other parts of the country. Many people come here so that they can enjoy the good climate. Therefore, they know what it takes to move somewhere completely new. It’s this that also adds to that small town feel.

    Columbia South Carolina truly is one of the nicest places to live. It seems to have something for everyone. If you’re considering moving to this part of the world it’s worth visiting it first. You’ll soon see why people come here from all over the United States.
