Some Automation Ideas for your Small Business

Published: Apr 16, 2023 · Modified: Sep 19, 2023 by Jennifer · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

No matter the size or complexity of your business, you can benefit from automation. Automation uses machines to carry out simple repetitive tasks like sending emails and SMS to customers, leaving you free to grow the business through networking, marketing, and finding new investors.

Below, you can find some simple automation ideas that a business can benefit from right away.

    Email Campaigns

An email is a powerful form of advertising. Most people think about social media channels first, but email is a more dedicated and valuable channel than social media in many ways. Firstly, email is more targeted, and you have a more initiative channel to customers than social media.

If you want to utilize the power of email in your business, you will need a CRM platform that allows you to upload your email lists and segment your customers. But first, you will have to acquire your email list. This can be done by using gated content on your website, for example.

    Social Media

In the world of radio and television, dead air is the worst thing that can occur. Dead air jars the audience out of their entertainment and makes them question the professionalism of the program. These days, dead air translates to the world of social media, where you need activity.

However, it can be hard to keep up with the pace of social media. The standard of posts is high at the moment, and you need to post regularly to stay relevant. Automating social media for the month allows you to sit back and enjoy all the posts and stories yourself as the business grows.

    CRM Platforms

As mentioned, CRM platforms are necessary for email campaigns. A CRM platform is the place where you organize and automate your marketing efforts so they run like clockwork and target the right people at the times. However, a CRM system can do a lot more than email marketing.

A CRM system is also responsible for storing, securing, and tracking customer data to help you deliver a better service to your customers overall. A CRM system can help you discover where how a customer interacts with your business, giving you valuable data to optimize the business.

    MSP Platforms

No matter the size of your business, you will need a network of some description. Networks range in size and complexity, but they all have something in common, they use machines. An effective network needs computers, modems, printers, and smartphones, in the world of today.

If you are not tech-savvy or you need to ensure your network stays operational at all costs, you can invest in a managed service provider (MSP) to manage your network and machines. An MSP is a cloud-based system, but they also support physical machines with Schneider Parts.

    SMS Messages

Automated text messages are convenient for customers and make your brand look more professional. Whether you want to send a confirmation SMS to improve the customer experience or update them on suitable products, automated SMS can be easily arranged.
