Happy Holidays from a Snowy NEW MEXICO

Published: Dec 23, 2014 · Modified: Dec 24, 2014 by Jennifer · This post may contain affiliate links · 4 Comments

Happy Holidays, my favorite people in the online world! You may have noticed a flurry of photos over the last few days - of the snowy variety! Chris, Angeline and I are in New Mexico spending time with his parents this year.

It's my first time EVER not spending Christmas with my family and it's been a little stressful for me to be away from them at such an important time of year. To make things even more crazy, I awoke to a message from my mom on Monday morning telling me that my little sister went into labor!! She was due in January, but her due date was questionable...as it turns out, she was even earlier than her doctor thought she might be!

She gave birth to a healthy, chubby little baby boy after an emergency C-Section Monday morning and I've been pining away over the photos she and my mom have been posting on Facebook and Instagram ever since. I can't wait to get home and see my new nephew in person and love him up!

In the meantime, I have some very, very exciting news. Well, exciting for me anyway!

    IT SNOWED ON MONDAY NIGHT!!!

I've been running around chasing bunnies in the snow, playing in the snow and well, just generally being a Miami girl amazed and obsessed with the snow.

Hey, it's 81 back at home and it's SNOWING here in New Mexico. Cut me some slack.

I'm sorry you won't be with your family this Christmas (it's the fist time in 20+ years I won't be spending the holidays with mine, so I know how you feel), but glad you get snow! I wish you and yours a very safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Jenn!

WOW! Amazing pictures of the bunny running through the snow. I like the pictures of you in the snow. I do not have any snow yet. Maybe this week. Have a Fun Holiday!

I'm not a fan of cold weather, nor am I a fan of snow since it's a pain to drive in, but I'll have to admit that it's pretty!
