Frozen Drinks You'd Probably Regret Not Trying

Here, we’ve curated a few recipes for frozen drinks that’ll be liked by kids and adults equally.

    1. Banana Margarita

If you’re a fan of margaritas, but are tired of the traditional and commonly served flavors, we’re here to experiment with one. Banana is a versatile fruit that is liked by almost everyone, and a frozen banana margarita would definitely be a super hit. To prepare it, start by adding 2 large bananas, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 0.75 cups of banana liqueur, 0.5 cups of tequila, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 0.5 cups of orange liqueur and a few ice cubes in a blender, and then mix the concoction well. Pour it into equal servings of glasses.

    1. Prosecco Slushie

If you’re an avid wine drinker, you most definitely savor a glass of chilled prosecco. Imagine combining it with other ingredients to form a cool slushie on a hot summer day? Simply invigorating, isn’t it? To make this exciting drink, you’ll need 2 cups of Prosecco, 1.5 cups of chopped strawberries, 1.5 cups of lemon juice, a few ice cubes, 0.25 cups of vodka and some mint to garnish. Apart from the ice, mix all ingredients in a blender until they’re halfway crushed. Add ice cubes and crush further to form a slushie texture. Finish with a garnish of fresh mint.

    1. Frozen Coconut Mojito

The mere mention of coconut makes most of us hysterical. Add it to a frozen drink and you’ve won our hearts. A frozen coconut mojito provides enough tropical feels that we definitely desire on summer days. You can start by heating 0.5 cups of sugar, a few mint leaves and water in a pan. Remove the mint leaves and let the mixture cool for a while. Add it to a blender along with two fresh mint leaves, 0.5 cups of rum, 1 can of coconut milk, 0.5 cups of coconut water, 0.25 cups of lime juice and a few ice cubes. Blend well and garnish with mint leaves and enjoy.

    1. Cucumber Mint Margarita

Ah, yet again, our favorite margarita. Combining cucumber and mint never goes wrong, and this is what we’ll do today. To make a cucumber mint margarita, you’ll need 0.5 cups of peeled and chopped cucumbers, 1 cup of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2.5 ounces of tequila, 0.5 ounces of orange liqueur, 5 to 6 chopped mint leaves and a few ice cubes. Mix all the ingredients in a blender until you get a smooth consistency. Pour it into a tall glass with salt spread on its rim and serve cold. Add a cut cucumber slice to finish the look of the drink.

    1. Frozen Blackberry Lemonade

Combining the flavor of our traditional lemonade with the heavenly blackberry fruit results in an epic frozen beverage. To prepare it, you’ll need 0.75 cups of blackberries, 0.5 cups of sugar, 0.5 cups of lemon juice and a few ice cubes. Mix these ingredients in a blender until they form into a beverage with a semi-solid consistency. If you’re using frozen berries, you can eliminate the ice cubes. Sprinkle some sugar on the rim of a tall glass and serve it cold. We’re sure that this drink will be savored by both kids and adults.

    1. Frozen Hot Chocolate

Even though it sounds like an oxymoron, this beverage is taking kids’ favorite hot chocolate to another level. To prepare this, you’ll need to mix and heat 0.5 cups of unsweetened cocoa powder, 2.25 cups of milk and 0.75 cups of sugar in a pan. Take some ice cube trays, pour the mixture into it when cool and let it freeze. When they are completely frozen, add them in the blender with 2 tablespoons of milk and mix well. Take a glass and pour it in. Add whipped cream and chocolate syrup along with some chocolate chips to garnish.
