Work days are jam packed with tasks, meetings, and more tasks especially if deadlines are fast approaching. Sometimes our work desk is too messy that it needs a little makeover if you’re allowed to do so or you want to get yourself organized.

There are a few useful, lightweight objects available that won’t take up much of your desk space. Best thing is, you might also bring these things anywhere too. Listed below are some suggested items that will give you some extra boost while at work.

Four Extra but Useful Things You Can Bring to Work

    Handy pocket notebook

Sometimes great ideas pop out of our minds when we least expect them to be, and oftentimes we forget to jot them down. Don’t let those thoughts go to waste and make it a habit to carry a notebook with you. Face it, digital notes just don’t help as well with memory versus when you write it down on paper.

Your best friend in helping you retain those sudden creative sparks is to get yourself having a pocket notebook. Be more organized not just with your mind, but also with your stuff by a getting pocket notebook cover with several pockets such as for your pens or cards. Go pick a leather one so it lasts long, and will greatly match your leather messenger bag that you use or work.

    Personalized mug

Your office desk will never be complete without your trusted mug. It's easily one of the most useful things, may it be for some early coffee fix or a late afternoon tea. You’ll definitely need it to get yourself caffeinated, relaxed or hydrated to make it through the day. Spice things up by getting your own personalized mug. This way you can also avoid confusing your mug with your colleague's.

Don’t want to use that mug for drinking? No problem! Mugs can also act as  pen holders,  plant holders, and even as a phone amplifiers. You can also give yourself some green points because you'd be helping reduce office waste.

    USB charging stations

Messy-looking tangled wires make working a bit unpleasant and it might be the reason why you’re stressed as everything around you is cluttered. Remove that unsightly view with a USB charging station with several ports and get yourself productive while your gadgets are getting some juice.

Especially useful in co-working spaces where outlets are few, this item just might be the perfect chance for you to meet new friends. Charge those gadgets during the break and start a good chat with your newly found friend.

    Colorful keyboard protector

This might be new to you, but there are dust-proof, anti-spill and washable colorful keyboard protectors for most popular laptop brands such as HP, Lenovo, and Mac. Typing on plain black and gray-colored buttons is no problem, but a colorful keyboard can certainly liven up the working mood and fill more creative juices.

Made of eco-friendly silicone, the latest colorful keyboard protector designs feature galactic and vibrant colors to ultimately catch the eye. Liquid and dustproof, who wouldn’t want this at such an affordable price? Colleagues will want to catch on with the trend.

Some people only bring themselves and their minds when they go to work. Some need some extra aid to be more productive and to add a bit of spice to their work life even in the form of small and simple office accessories. There’s no harm in bringing additional stuff with you as long as it doesn’t get in the way of what you’re working on and your boss approves of it.
