Compare CBD Vape Oil E-Liquids on Sale to Avoid Scams

Published: Sep 8, 2018 · Modified: Sep 8, 2018 by Jennifer · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

CBD oils are commonly used with vaporizers. They present a healthy way to consume marijuana. The CBD oil industry has been growing since marijuana enthusiasts learned about the health benefits of vaping cannabis. Unfortunately, this emerging market has created a new opportunity for scam artists to sell their snake oil products as CBD vape oils. The manufacturing process of CBD vape oils is currently poorly regulated, and this is why it is vital to compare the various brands on the market before settling on a single product.

Here are some tips to help you compare the different brands currently on the market:

    • Check the Certificates of Analysis

As noted, governments around the world have not yet regulated the production of CBD vape oil for sale. In order to avoid buying unhealthy vape oils, you should confirm whether the product has been certified by third-party organizations. These organizations check the products for contaminants such as pesticides, solvents, and heavy metals. Thorough sellers will even have their oils scanned for certain cannabinoids. Such products are usually marketed as full-spectrum CBD oils. You can request for these certificates before putting your money on potentially dangerous products.

    • CBD Content

CBD is the active ingredient in the oils, so its concentration should be reasonable. If you are looking for a medium strength dosage, your 10ml bottle should contain about 500mg of CBD. If you want a stronger product, you should look for 10ml bottles that have about 1000 mg of CBD. The strongest CBD vape oil available in stores contains around 2500mg of CBD in every 30ml bottle. The CBD content should be matched with its strength. For example, if the label says that their product is 30% CBD by weight, and their CBD content is 500mg, the actual active CBD in the bottle would only be 150mg.

    • The Method of Extraction

There are several methods of extracting CBD from the hemp plant, and some of them are highly unhealthy. Some of these methods will require the use of toxic solvents like propane, pentane and hexane. These chemicals are very dangerous to the human body. Most reputable manufacturers extract CBD oil using organic and pharmaceutical-grade ethanol. This extraction method also results in the highest concentration of cannabinoids. However, the safest and highest-quality CBD vape oils are manufactured through super-critical CO2 extraction. This process is very expensive, but it guarantees purity of the product throughout the entire manufacturing process. Manufacturers of CBD vape oils usually include information on their extraction process on their websites. You can also call their customer representatives to inquire on their manufacturing methods.

The CBD vape oil industry is still very young. Even large and well-known companies can engage in unethical practices since the industry is largely unregulated. When shopping for CBD vape oils, you should look beyond the price. It is better to spend more money and get a product that is certified and strong enough. Always check the labels to determine the strength of the vape oil. Also, make sure you go through the manufacturer’s website for details on their extraction process.
