Most people think that the hardest part of party planning is finding ways to keep your guests entertained. Luckily for you, below is a list of 5 Spooky Activities for a Fun Halloween Party that your guests can do!

Throwing the perfect party can be a daunting task. There is so much planning and effort involved in creating the best possible experience for your guests. Have no fear this Halloween - we have you covered with some very simple party activity ideas!

5 Spooky Activities for a Fun Halloween Party

    Haunted Backyard

If you have ever been to a haunted house or corn maze, you understand what it is like to be scared. Different haunted attractions hire professionals to dress creepily and jump out and scare you.

You could do something similar for your big party attraction, but it would have to be on a smaller scale. If you get your friends to dress up and scare your guests, it will be a recipe for a fun and thrilling evening.

    Hide and Seek

Even though hide and seek might sound like a juvenile children's game, you could put a haunted spin on it. If you make the game's goal to scare the people hiding, then it would fit along perfectly with your theme of frightening.

Also, a cool prop to have during this game would be a fog machine. Fog gives a mysterious, eerie environment, and it gives people more opportunity to hide.

    Costume Contest

A costume contest is a Halloween party staple. Whether judging based on creativity, most realistic, funniest, or even most creepy, a costume contest is necessary when throwing a Halloween banger.

Plus, If you want to keep the theme along the lines of creepy and scary, then make your costume contest based on the scariest costume.

    Watch Party

One of the best parts of the Halloween season is scary movies, so have a frightening movie watch party at the end of the night. A good way to organize this watch party is to create a poll and ask guests which scary movie they want to watch.

This way, more people will enjoy the film that gets played.

    Murder Mystery

If you have ever seen a murder mystery spin-off on TV and wondered what would it be like to solve a murder, then throwing a murder mystery themed Halloween party would be a lot of fun.

The concept is simple, you pick a murderer, and you have them fake kill people until either someone in the group guesses who the murder is or everyone dies.

It may sound a little juvenile, but there are really fun ways to spice it up and make it more fun, keeping the theme eerie and spooky.

Plus, who has never wondered what it is like to play a real-life game of clues? Hosting the perfect party isn't about spending the most money on elaborate schemes; it is about people.

The most important thing is to have FUN!

That being said, listen to your guests. You don't have to throw some big elaborate party to make everyone happy; you just have to consider everyone's thoughts.
