Benefits Of Having A Great Dane As A Pet

    Big-hearted giant

If they start running at you, be very careful because as they come at you close, they might tend to start cuddle with you until they get exhausted. This breed is known for being loyal, friendly, playful, and incredibly gentle. They can weigh from one hundred and twenty to twenty hundred pounds, and in their standing position, their height can be from twenty-eight to thirty-two inches tall.

When they stand up, they are bigger than most dogs and can be taller than many people. They are powerful giants. Initially, they were bred to hunt wild boars and guard your homes.

Will guard you with their life

When you see them stand static, it is definitely an intimidating view to behold. They are powerful but gentle in their hearts. As they were originally bred for guarding objects, they are much more than that.

They tend to be very patient, friendly, and you can depend on them in every situation as they are very intelligent. Their bark is quite extraordinary and can put fear into anyone who wishes to a burglar or attack your home. They come as watchdogs, family dogs, with assured qualities which will satisfy your needs.

    Temperamentally stable

The Great Dane is a very lovable creature that is well-behaved with great temperament. If the situation arrives, they tend to be very protective to the ones it cares about the most. Danes are very calm and tend to be strong defenders if the situation comes, but they usually are not aggressive.

    Playful with children

It has been known throughout the years that this breed has a lot of fun when playing with children. They are aware of their size around small children and tend to be very gentle around them to not hurt them. If they spend a lot of them with your children, they will form an unbreakable bond with them that will last forever. Remember to feed a Great Dane a healthy diet to give them the energy to entertain children, or the other way around. Read Freshpet reviews and discover the best pet dog food.

Either way, they are adorable, and their size only shows how big their heart is. There are many other benefits amongst the mentioned above such as they can be easily groomed, acquire a great personality, easy to train, adaptable to any environment, and last but not least, they will fill your life with love and care.

If it is available, you can always adopt one because any dog alone will get sad and left with their heartbroken. Once you bring them to your home, get ready for the adventure of your lifetime.
