Have you got a birthday coming up, and want to plan the best surprise party ever? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Sometimes, life can be difficult, and our birthdays can fall where we least expect it. Whether it be a friend or family member, we always want to do everything we can to make their day extra special. In this article, we will be giving you some tips and tricks on How to Plan a Party for Someone in Hospital.

How to Plan a Party for Someone in Hospital

    Put a team together:

Putting everything on your own shoulders can be stressful and exhausting. This is why you should put together a team of trusted friends so that you can share the tasks and responsibilities together. Delegate tasks to everyone, so that they can focus on the essential things first. Who will arrange the cake, or the decorations? Make a list and send it out. You’ll want as much help as possible!

    Consider your budget:

Organizing a great party doesn’t mean it has to be expensive. Don’t be afraid to make a budget and stick to it. Have a look around online, and find some budget-friendly party decorations you can DIY. You’ll be surprised at how great you can make it without a large expense.

    Get some matching outfits:

Want to really surprise the birthday girl/boy? Organize to get some custom hoodies or t-shirts made! With everyone dressed up with their own unique shirt, it can make for a great keepsake and memory of the special day. Don’t forget a special one for the person whose birthday is being celebrated!

    Choose the right gifts:

If the person whose birthday is being celebrated is going to be in the hospital for a while, try and consider gifts that will help make the experience more comfortable. Blankets, games, movies and books are all great ideas. You want to support your friend in the hospital as much as possible, to show they are cared for and respected.

Ask questions to find out their interests:

Put on your detective hat and figure out some sneaky ways to find out their interests. If you don’t feel comfortable asking the questions to the birthday boy/girl, try and ask their loved ones for as much information as possible. What’s their favorite kind of cake? What music do they like? All of these questions will help you create a personalized and fun party. Remember to double-check everything with the hospital staff, to ensure you are respectful to other guests.

    Pick the right day:

Once you’ve got all the plans together, you want to make sure you’ve got the right date and time. For this, you’ll want to talk with the nurses and staff at the hospital. To make sure that everything is allowed. Communication is critical, and you don’t want to disturb other patients during rest time.

And there you have it! By following the above guide, you’ll be able to create a great party that will cheer up your friend, and let them enjoy their special day. Remember not to dive into the task alone, and ask the hospital for advice when you need it. Good luck, and have fun!
