    What Brings You Joy?

Recently I was asked by SOYJOY what brings me joy. Today I had the pleasure of hiking through the rainforests of Costa Rica. I visited a working pineapple farm and was able to experience what it is like to spend a day planting and harvesting pineapples to export around the world. I met the workers, ate lunch with the local farmers and even spent some time hanging out with their cows! The best part? I got to taste fresh, sweet pineapple right there on the farm!

We spent a few hours hiking in the rain forest behind our friend's farm and if you know me, you know that I am NOT an active person. Hiking is not something I ever do - let alone in the rain forest in Costa Rica. With spiders, bugs and fer de lance snakes running around...

    Rain Forest

Leaving behind my comfort zone and experiencing everything the world and life has to offer brings me #Joy!

What also brings me #Joy, especially during the holiday season, is returning home to Miami after a trip filled with adventure. I love spending time with my husband and daughter, snuggling in and watching our favorite holiday movies - sharing the couches with my four legged family of course. In a few weeks, we'll be on our way to spend the holidays with family in New Mexico.

Good food and great company are always great sources of joy!

SOYJOY bars are a fantastic healthy snack alternative that you can feel good about eating. No reason to bring your holiday joy down by feeling guilty, right? These bars are made with real pieces of fruit and have only 130-140 calories per bar. I can put a few into my purse and they'll hold up just fine through security lines, TSA pat-downs and whatever adventure we find! Nobody likes to grab their snack only to find that it has crumbled or melted. SOYJOY bars are perfect for an after school or mid-work day snack and are great on road trips - and they make the perfect stocking stuffer.

SOYJOY bars are also certified gluten-free and made with non-GMO ground whole soybeans. I first found out about SOYJOY about 7 years ago, when a friend with gluten allergies was snacking on one while we were at a festival. They're one of the few gluten-free snack foods I've eaten that taste REALLY GOOD!

You can even pop SOYJOY bars in the microwave for 8-10 seconds for a tasty treat that pairs well with coffee or hot cocoa!

    BUCKETOFJOY
SOYJOY has put together an amazing gift basket that includes:

Mason jar of SOYJOY bars in all seven flavors

    Plush blanket

    Wooden letters spelling JOY

    Galvanized Metal Bucket

Head over to the SOYJOY website to learn more about their tasty flavors, shop the e-store, or use the store locator at us.soyjoy.com. You can also connect with SOYJOY on Facebook.
What brings you #JOY this Holiday season? Leave a comment telling me what brings YOU Joy and you'll be entered to win this SOYJOY Gift Basket! This giveaway ends on December 16th at midnight and is open to US residents.

I get joy as I discover my quest for life. I love to reflect on where I've come from to where I am now. My children are my legacy - and there is nothing that can replace them. I bet that pineapple tasted amazing fresh, it's my favorite way to enjoy the earth's sweetness <e

Making time for myself when I do absolutely nothing gives me joy. For instance, after I dropped our son at preschool this morning I still didn't feel energized so I went back to bed and took a nap.
      It was amazing!
