    Herbed Basmati Rice Pilaf Recipe

I am so over cooking...coming home from a summer full of travel has left me so incredibly spoiled, and I have zero desire to step into the kitchen. Granted, this isn't much different than my usual attitude towards the kitchen, but it's even worse after coming home from a trip!

I made this Herbed Basmati Rice Pilaf recipe with Success® Basmati Rice as a quick dinner and liked it so much that I made a second batch to set aside for my weekday lunches!

    Herbed Basmati Rice Pilaf

This recipe is really easy to make and makes for a great side dish or main course if you load up on the ham and peas. I think of it as my healthy answer to our family's favorite pork fried rice that we order from take out!

Success® Basmati Rice is the only boil-in-bag Basmati rice on the market, and I am so thankful for it! The grains of rice are long and slender, and it elongates 3 to 4 times in length when you cook it.

It has a distinctive fragrance and a fluffy texture that really makes it look appetizing, so picky eaters won't be dissuaded by its appearance.

Success Rice Boil in a bag Basmati

What I really love about Success® Basmati Rice, well ALL Success® Rice actually, is that it's pre-portioned, boil-in-bag cooking means no mess, no measuring and hello? No burnt rice or rice cookers necessary!

I never fail to burn or not fully cook the rice when I try to cook it conventionally or in a rice cooker. Success® Rice cooks in just ten minutes with no fuss - and I know that it will always come out perfectly!

The white and brown Success® Rice can sit up to 30 minutes before being served, so it's also a great make-ahead option during busy weeknights or as a side dish during dinner parties.

There are four different varieties available including the Success® Basmati Rice, Success® Jasmine Rice, Success® Whole Grain Brown Rice and Success® White Rice, as well as a few aromatic varieties too!  You can learn more about all of the Success® Rice options here.

We love basmati rice. My favorite thing to make used to be Pork Fried Rice, which used a lot of soy sauce. I have found out that I am allergic to soy and have shied away from rice recipes. This herbed basmati rice pilaf recipe is a total game changer. I can't wait to make this!
