    Olay-Regenerist

There are many times when I am out with Angeline and we will hear the "Is that your sister" remark from a kindly stranger or salesperson. While this may just be a compliment-them-so-they-buy-something tactic, I know that part of it comes the fact that I don't exactly look old enough to have a 17 year old daughter!

After posting a photo of the two of us, I often hear from friends, "Twinsies!" and "She's your mini me!" I've teamed up with Olay Renegerist for today's sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.

I won't lie, I love that. I would love to take credit for my youthful appearance but I think that part of it lies in my family's youthful genes. I'd say it's 50% genes and 50% a result of the things I do on a regular basis to stay feeling and looking young!

    5 Tips for Staying #ForeverYoung

    Use A LOT of Sunscreen.

I live in South Florida and I see the cumulative effects of sun damage in the faces of friends, families and strangers on a daily basis.

No matter how fantastic your skin, it WILL get damaged over time. I used to only use sunscreen on my face and let my body tan when going to the beach, but once I hit 30, I realized the error of my ways.

Now I wear sunblock on my face and sunscreen on my body. Sure, I'm a little paler but it's worth it to reduce my risk of skin cancer and prevent nasty wrinkles from popping up!

    Laugh. Smile.

There's a famous quote that I'm sure you guys have heard once or twice: happy girls are the prettiest girls. It's true. Did you know that the simple act of smiling triggers endorphins that can actually improve your mood?

Nothing beats a smile. Laugh those deep, open-mouthed laughs and don't hold back!

    Drink More Water.

We all hear "Drink more water!" from a dietary and nutrition standpoint, but have you ever stopped to think about how important it is to drink water for your appearance?

Drinking water helps promote skin circulation which helps maintain skin repair. It will also help keep bloating at bay, reduce headaches and boost metabolism - all things that make us feel our best.

You know that saying, "You're only as old as you feel?" It's true. Youth isn't just the outward appearance we are all so obsessed with. It's a feeling deep within ourselves, a sense of vitality and enthusiasm for life.

Take Time For Yourself. Do something fun.

Nothing screams "I'm an old lady" like getting into your pajamas at 8 PM on a Friday night. And then the other six nights of the week. Do something fun. Go out with friends, take a break and spend the day at the beach - just go out and have FUN.

I know that life gets in the way and sometimes we find ourselves so bogged down in the daily minutia that we are exhausted at the end of the day...but do it anyway. I promise you, it will be worth it!

Remember, happy girls are the prettiest girls!

    Don't Skimp on the Moisturizer.

While we can do many things to help us feel youthful, sometimes our skin misses the memo. It's so important to moisturize on a daily basis, and if you start noticing fine lines and wrinkles, do something about it!

We begin dying our hair when we notice grays, and treating our skin shouldn't be any different.

The new Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Aging Micro-Sculpting Cream can help to lift and sculpt for younger-looking skin.

    2

It hydrates to regenerate volume and shape across the surface of your skin, which reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles and smoothes and brightens your skin's appearance. It also helps to restore skin elasticity with plumping hydration!

    3

I have been using the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream in the mornings and at night for almost a week now and I can't get over how good it feels and smells!

While the cream isn't very thick, it is really rich, not watered down and greasy like some moisturizers can be. It is lightly scented, so it's not overpowering.

    4

Olay is a worldwide leader in skin care and has been trusted by women for over 60 years, maintaining its founding philosophy: to maintain a deep understanding of women’s changing needs and to combine products that fit their needs with the latest advances in skin care technology.

Regenerist was created along those lines to address women’s anti-aging needs, and millions of women have tried it and loved it, making Regenerist the #1 anti-aging moisturizer.*

I really need to up the water intake. I haven't seen my skin looking too terrible yet, but I know the dehydration is taking a toll on the rest of my body!

The sunscreen and moisturizer are HUGE for me. Growing up, I always wanted to tan but learned early on I was just one of those that burns and peels, and never turns tan. Sooo, I gave up and now that I'm older I'm GLAD!
