Ham and Asparagus Skillet Recipe
This Ham and Asparagus Skillet Recipe is an easy skillet meal with good flavor.
Servings 4 people
- 8 ounces cooked and drained cavatappi pasta
- ¾ lb fresh asparagus cut into 1" pieces
- 1 yellow pepper thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 can 15 oz, diced tomatoes
- 1 package 8 oz, diced ham
- ½ teaspoon dry basil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon dry oregano
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- fresh parsley for garnish if desired
ook pasta according to package directions, set aside.
Add asparagus, pepper and oil to a skillet and heat over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until peppers are tender.
Add tomatoes, ham and seasoning and continue to heat until warm.
Stir in pasta and heat another 1-2 minutes or until pasta is hot.
