    My House is Probably Haunted...

I believe in ghosts, and I am pretty sure that My House is Probably Haunted.... I watch all the shows: Paranormal Witness, Ghost Hunters, The Dead Files, etc. While I believe in ghosts, nothing ghostly has ever happened to me - or at least, I didn't think so until a few days ago!

    My House is Probably Haunted...

Every year, the kids at school make a point to gift their friends with a ton of balloons on their birthday.

Last year Angeline came home with about ten mylar balloons, and they floated around in her room for a good week before they began to lose steam.

Angeline always deflates them after while and either saves them or tapes them to her wall for decorations.

    balloons 1

Last year, Angeline and I were in the living room watching television when all of a sudden, we noticed one of her deflating birthday balloons float out of her bedroom door, down the hallway and into the living room.

    IT WAS CREEPY!

Angeline started freaking out and I calmed her down, telling her that it was probably the air conditioning that was moving it through the house.

The intake is right in front of her bedroom door, and it made perfect sense that it would draw the balloon out, and it was entirely possible that the vents were pushing it around.

At our Halloween Scary Movie Night, I was telling the story to my family because one of the movies we watched showed something similar happen - and it turned out to be a ghost!

    Well...it happened again.

Angeline was on the couch Monday afternoon, watching television, and I was in the kitchen making apple chips.

It's my new obsession! But I'll write a whole blog post about that later!

So here we are, minding our own business, when all of a sudden, I hear Angeline squeak out in a tiny voice, "Mom, it's happening again!"

Of course I had no idea what she was talking about, so when I came around the corner, I was a little shocked to see one of her birthday balloons floating next to her in the living room!!

She asked me if I did it, which of course I didn't...and then she said, "it's coming for you!" Sure enough, it turned slightly and started floating directly towards me.

I stepped to the side and it freaking turned again and floated at me again.

I grabbed it, threw it in her room and shut the door.

    balloons 2

Later that evening, Angeline popped it.

I thought we were all done with the balloon business...and then one evening when I was getting ready to cook dinner, I turned around to see this...

    balloon

Let's just say that I was sufficiently creeped out. I threw the balloon into Angeline's room and told her to keep her ghosts to herself!

Now, at this point, I honestly felt like something might be happening. A friend said that it was probably just moving because of the air flow through the house, even though the air conditioning was turned off.

Okay, whatever, I'm totally rational. I'll let this go.

Then...While I was laying in bed watching television on Wednesday night, this happened.

    balloons

I looked at the balloon and thought to myself, surely, this balloon is not going to float into my room.

So far they've all floated down the hallway into the living room and dining room.

    I WAS WRONG.

    more balloons

I laid there watching it float directly towards me, and then I pulled the covers over my head and screamed for Angeline to come get her demons.

By the time she came, it had floated out of my room and into my office, which is across the hall.

Balloons are now banned in my home.

I believe in ghosts too. I have had a few creepy things happen to me at my house but the worst was when the TV turned on all by itself in the middle of the night.I was scared to death. I made my husband go get the kids out of bed and put them in bed with us. My mom tried to say it was a timer but we have had this TV for over 6 years and it's never turned on by itself like that. CREEEEEPY!

Um, yeah, that's a very good reason to ban balloons. I have always hated balloons anyways! 😉

We've had this happen before. Even when the air isn't on there's still circulation. But you never know, it could have been a ghost!

This exact same thing happened to me. I wasn't scared though, I thought it was kinda cool. It only did this for one day (it had been hanging in the exact same place for almost 3 weeks) when it suddenly starting floating down the hallway and up and down the staircase. There were no windows open, no heater, and we don't even have an air conditioner. That was yesterday. Today it is back to its original spot and staying put. Weird. Don't be scared though. Probably just someone you know on the other side letting you know they're there.

This just happened to me! There was a balloon left over from my step son's birthday and it had been floating at the top of the kitchen ceiling in the same spot for about 3 weeks. Well I was cleaning up the other night and I came through the dining room and there was the balloon floating around a bit lower than the ceiling and I stopped and looked at it. Then I held my hand out and I said okay if you're someone come towards me. Well it slowly slowly started coming towards me But it was doing it so slowly that I began to feel silly. So I said okay it must be hard to do and I'm not going stand here forever. it floated a little closer to me then turned and went back to its original position. Well about an hour later I was in the bed watching television and here came the balloon floating right into my bedroom door all the way across my room and into the corner as if it was staring at me. It was up by the ceiling then it starts coming straight at me lowered itself to the height of a human and floated right to my bed. As it got close to the television the television screen went black. It started floating over the bed coming towards me and I sat up and grabbed it. I locked it in the laundry room.

I'm sitting at home watching a scary movie and the woman goes to google what's happening in the house and I had an AHA moment. I jumped on computer and googled balloon that follows you in house and found this article and read the stories of others with similar experience. Here is my story. Around 23 years ago my husband and I rented a home that had a cathedral ceilling in the living room. For those of you that don't know, it's a ceiling that goes up on one side, about 12 feet at the highest point. My daughter had this tweety bird balloon. It was large and had a big head and body with arms and legs that were accordian like, my guess is 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall. We had the balloon for a while before the helium started to go. Late one night my husband and I are in our living room watching tv and Tweety is in the corner of the ceiling. I lit a cigarette and caught movement out of the corner of my eye and I watch as Tweety starts to move. Okay, so you need to understand that I'm sitting slightly cattycnorner to Tweety and he could have come down and straight to me, BUT, instead he came down and traveled around the whole couch which is one of those ugly, huge boomerang couches that were in style in the mid nineties. Anyway, he travels around the couch and stops right next to my right shoulder and just hovers there. I turned to my husband to ask if he's noticed and he's staring at it. I said "What's up with that? That's weird huh?"
I put the cigarette out and Tweety floats back up to the ceiling, not just up mind you, but back around the couch and then up to the same corner. We awkwardly laughed about it and went back to the tv. I was pretty unerved and kept my eye on it. Maybe an hour later I lit another cigarette and here comes Tweety, same path and hovers right next to same shoulder. I immediately put the cigarette out and he goes back the same way. Now I'm really unerved and my husband is freaked out. He's not nearly as open minded as me and I can tell he feeling some bad mojo. As soon as Tweety settles once again, I grab the cigarette, re-light it and wouldn't know here comes Tweety. We did it one more time and by now my husband and I are beyond scared. I know many of you who read this will think it had something to do with the cigarette smoke and air currents and you may be right but to this day because of the many other bizarre happenings in the home, I fully believe it was whatever was wrong with the house. As soon as lease ran out we were gone.
I'm adding that the house was located in a development called Bishopwood in an area called Argyle in Jacksonville Fl. I wanted to include that just in case someone else living in that house happens to google and comes across this article. I realize how unlikely this is but OBVIOUSLY, in my world, wierder things have happpend.

WOW! Yeah, see I have lived in this home for 20 years (now) and it was a family home, so I know nothing bad ever happened here...but that was SO WEIRD! I am glad that you were renting and didn't buy that house, so you could get out easily! And you NEVER know when it comes to who will read what...years ago I wrote about my divorce, and my ex-husband's FIRST wife found the blog post on facebook and contacted me. LOL

I'm so freaked out right now searching to see if anyone experienced any bizarre or wierd balloon activity. I am a balloonist I recently blew up some red balloons 🎈 for a birthday party some with helium and some with air. I woke up 2days ago with a large red heart balloon standing right outside my upstairs bedroom door. This wouldn't be weird if the balloon was filled with helium but this balloon was airfield. I went downstairs 😳 the balloon followed me. The balloon seem to gravitate more and more towards me. Ok maybe the air was playing tricks I thought. I turned everything off the balloon went from one room to the next sit on the sofa and even went to my front door as if to leave out. After a while my hubby came downstairs to watch the game the balloon seemed to calm down no activity. As soon as my hubby went upstairs the balloon began to walk and activity increased so much until i started recording and taking pics. Finally the balloon stood at the door still being a skeptic wanting to know whats going on I asked the balloon did it want to go outside just joking around. To my surprise when I opened the door the balloon headed out. At first nothing the balloon layer on the ground as it should with no helium and I thought to myself maybe there was a draft in the house 🤔 well just then the balloon lifted and floated straight up. I grabbed my phone and started recording. Amazed at what I'd just seen almost in emotional tears. Im speechless as this happened last night and over the years of working with balloons this was my 2nd time experiencing this. The 1st time was 2 years over a year ago when my mom passed. So at this point having experienced this twice I am more than convinced something out of the norm is going on.

Just to add to my previous story So glad to know I am not alone seeing that this just happened last night. I love in New Orleans, la and we are deep into the Covid19 pandemic. The only difference i see is i have had 2 milar balloons without helium do the same activity others on here are experiencing. I work with balloons for a living. The balloon followed me up and down the stairs with the air off. It followed me into the kitchen even sat on the sofa. The balloon tried to follow me outside several times. It went from floor to on top the refrigerator. My husband come downstairs no activity 😒 as soon as he finish watching game i watched this huge balloon go over to my grandkids toys and bounce all around then sat still then 🙄 hover in front the TV blocking my view. Very annoying but when it waited at tge door as to get out i asked the balloon a question. DO YOU AANT YO GO OUTSIDE? the balloon turns around come towards me way in the kitchen I freaked out and I started recording 😳 I ran to that door and opened the door the balloon heads towards me. I grab it bring it outside it lands on the group motionless. I started to feel stupid maybe there was a draft in the house. This is all in my head right? Well no wind remember no heluim and this balloon starts to lift and float i grab my phone before i lose sight and caught it as it got high into trees and over the house. A balloon with no helium don't float plus I had other balloons filled with air they never moved because air is heavy. Just got word a friend past away 2 days ago.

Been searching for the explanation of why my daughter’s balloon just one day float to her side while she’s sleeping. It was in her room for days on the ceiling. Today at 4 in the morning, I witnessed it with my own eyes. She’s sleeping and I am sitting right next to her checking fb on my phone. From the corner of the room on the ceiling, the balloon floats toward my daughter’s direction and stopped on top of her feet. I grabbed it and threw the balloon on the opposite direction of her room and few seconds it floats again towards my daughter’s direction. When it stopped beside her side, I grabbed it for the third time and threw it again on the ceiling away from my daughter and then it moved again towards where my daughter is then this time, I hug her tight (she’s still sleeping) and thats when the balloon stopped floating. Really weird. The balloon always float to my daughter’s direction. No aircon, no heater, no fan. Weird.

My youngest son died recently and one of the latex balloon we had at his funeral was circling the family room and coming near us for ex. When we’re playing his favorite card game. Then it would be at his height in front of the tv like he used to watch tv. Two of the latex balloons are still floating by the ceilings and haven’t moved. But these are latex it’s been 10 days. I’m thinking it’s his spirit/sign he’s here....

Ok so... I have a helium tank and I made my daughter a yellow balloon, made a face on it, put it on a ribbon 🎀 and gave it to my kid. This is fairly normal for us. I make all of her balloons for her bday parties. I sometimes make people “get well” balloons as a friendly gesture. Anyways, of course my daughter wasn’t able to hold on to the balloon she’s a kid and she was dancing with it. The balloon went to my ceiling. I thought it wouldn’t come down till the next day. 20- 30 minutes later the balloon is the same height as my 5 year old daughter. My daughter and I sat in the living room trying to figure out why it had come down so fast, no ac on, no fans either. The balloon moved from the middle of the room to where we were on the sofa. The face turned and looked at us. As my daughter walked away the face stared at her. Anyway, had the house blessed by a priest after this happened. I felt better about being in the house until I found a balloon (not blown up) sitting in my daughters room on her dresser. She keeps telling me that she didn’t put it there... and it’s the same color as the one we had a weird event with, yellow. I’d really love some opinions on this. Thanks girly.

I looked up this thread tonight. After looking up Google balloons or w/e. But what made me look this up was weird. Ots Halloween 2021 here in philadelphia. What was weird js me and my sons mother were trick or treating. ( I'm Christian so I just do it for her and for him cause whatever it's just a fun day of costumes and community and its fun so whatever I'm not thay petty) we went around and got candy block after block. But at some point we were walking. And at one corner it was just a construction zone. Zoned off by fences and fabric. So we stopped at the corner cause my son acted out. I consoled him . Then I noticed like 20 balloons floating. And I was like look Danny see the balloons. They're going flat into the sky. I wasnunder the impression that someone let go of them and likeni always seen balloons like that just float into t hr sky. The balloons started like that. Until well they were headed into thr n sky like normal but then they started coming down. Andntoward us. Then the u went up down up down until they got right near us. So I went and.grabbed the balloons and we walked all tge way 1 mile away to macdonalds eith the balloons. Then she went home with the kid with the balloons. What was weird though and what it was that made me look up this thread is none of us were dressed like Clowna. So why did the people at the grocery store say o I though you were "it" for hallwoeeen. Like what? How does that make sense. Then I looked back and thought wow those balloons clearly floated to us.

So yes I actually took a video, yes I have the balloon turning corners and following my commands . I also was able to catch a orb coming in and out of the balloon on camera. Needless to say it was the face of a male , he had a sad expression on his face . When I showed this video to my family and friends they just said that I am able to connect with spirit , yes this is true. My advice to you all are if you want the real truth take videos and then take still shots periodically as the balloon is in action , trust me if you want the truth of this phenomena then do it, if you don’t really want the truth, we’ll don’t do it, it can be a revelation and scared to see the truth. Ghost exist!
