Homemade Pumpkin Butter
This Homemade Pumpkin Butter Recipe is good and it is incredibly tasty whether you warm it or simply serve it at room temperature on bread!

- 1 can 15 ounces, pumpkin puree
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1-½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- sliced french bread
Add pumpkin pure, brown sugar, apple sauce, syrup and spices to a sauce pan.
Heat over medium high heat until mixture begins to bubble.
Reduce heat to low and continue to cook and let mixture bubble for 20 minutes.
Stir frequently. If mixture begins to splash, reduce heat.
Remove from heat and cool until warm. Serve on sliced bread.
