Herbed Basmati Rice Pilaf Recipe

  • 1 cup cooked Success® Basmati Rice
  • 1 quart water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts toasted
  • 3 tablespoons grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 1/2 cup cooked sweet peas


  1. Prepare Success® Basmati Rice according to package directions - boil in a quart of water for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain the water from the pot and press a spoon against the bag of Success® Basmati Rice to remove excess water, then pour the rice back into the your pot - do this while the pot is OFF the stove.
  3. Add the rest of your ingredients into the pot, but save a few green onions to use as a garnish.
