I have a confession to make.
I hate the Wordless Wednesday meme.
Why?
Well, firstly, I always mistype "wordless" and it ends up "worldless" which makes absolutely no sense at all.
And then there is the headache of actually looking for a photo that doesn't need a description.
Perhaps I am a crappy photographer, but most of my photos require an explanation.
This week is no different...
So, what is this?
You're looking at what happens when I experiment in the kitchen.
Chocolate, peanut butter and bananas.
It seemed great in theory...
Sara Phillips
It DOES seem like a great concept! Did they taste HORRIBLE?
PS: I always have to correct my "worldless" to "wordless" every week, too!
Jenn
They were okay...they really didn't turn out as peanut buttery as I thought they would! 🙁 And they just looked gross. LOL!
Henrietta
lol! It {almost} looks good enough to eat! I can never keep my Wednesdays wordless either!
Crystal
Well, you get points for trying, right? I usually don't keep my Wordless Wednesdays very wordless, either.
Stefani
As long as they tasted good is all that matters. 🙂
Tammy
It's just missing the jelly.
Dee
LOL - at least you TRIED!!! It does seem like it would be good! 🙂
Brandy
My kids would love to experiment with this for sure! All things they love!
Anne - Mommy Has to Work
It does look good though!
Carolyn G
Okay that looks weird but was it tasty?
Liz
I'm never Wordless on mine, so don't feel like you have to be, silly! The cookies look good though!
Jennifer
I agree it's the fact you tried! It cracks me up you hate this theme. I'm never wordless if it makes you feel any better.
Rachel
They don't look that bad! And they sound like they tasted okay - was the banana baked? I bet that would be an interesting texture 🙂
Cat Davis - Food Family Finds
It doesn't like a bad idea since I've heard PB/bananas is good combo.
Billie
If I posted a picture of all my baking fails, there would be nothing else on my blog.
Kelly
They sound yummy. Maybe you can make them on halloween and call them Elvis eyeballs or something, lol.
Mom Foodie
Yeah it's ugly, but I bet it tasted good. I'd rather have that than one of those uber pretty cakes that taste like wax dipped in sugar.
maryann
I'm the same way with wordless wednesdays.
Lolo
I have a baking fail all the time. lol
Beth
Looking gross can be over come ... easily with a glass of wine or two. Taste is what matters! 😉
Katie
aww, in theory I bet they were super delicious anyway!
Jen
That's why I stick to recipes others have perfected. Unfortunately, I usually manage to screw those up too!
Candace
I am sorry I am laughing loudly at Kelly's comment above calling them Elvis eyeballs rofl!
Emily
Maybe you could do pb and banana cookies with a chocolate on top instead! They sound good!!
TerriAnn
Well, at least you have a springboard for the next experiment, right? 🙂
Onica {MommyFactor}
How can making cookie be a bad thing? I for one love this wordless wed photo. LOL
Anne
It might not look great, but I bet it tasted pretty good
Kelly
I wonder if you mashed the banana if that would work out better? I'm sure they still tasted great! And add me to the group that misspells wordless.
Toni
LOL you would think it would be good b/c that combination usually is
Kathy
They look good to me! I love the peanut butter banana combo!
Amanda
Hehe, don't get me started on baking fails...lol!
Jennie
I'm not a big WW fan either. Especially when people think their photo requires no words, but nobody gets it. So then there are still words, but you have to search the comments to find them. (Good concept - maybe if you started with a pb cookie you already liked, and for sure don't push the banana slice in until it's cooked?)
