When Mother Nature Has Multiple Personalities…

We have a saying about the weather in Miami, “Don’t like the weather? Just wait a minute, it’ll change.”

I’ve only ever lived in Miami, FL, so I can’t tell you if what we experience here is like anywhere else in the United States…but it’s kind of crazy. For instance, you can usually actually see the raining coming towards you. Sometimes it will be pouring down rain in the front yard, and sunny in the backyard. Sometimes it will be raining cats and dogs and still be sunny! Literally, I will have to wear sunglasses while it’s raining .

Our weather has multiple personalities.

Don’t believe me?

I went to the grocery store today to pick up steaks to make for my daughter and I because we have been eating low fat, low calorie everything all week. It is time for a treat so that we don’t go crazy on a binge this weekend!

This is what I saw when I got out of my truck. I immediately thought to myself, oh crap, I better hurry in the store!

And this is what I saw when I walked around the truck and headed towards the grocery store. Literally, I just turned in the opposite direction, and was only about 3 feet away from my car.

Two totally different weather systems, in the same parking lot.

That’s South Florida for you…

Sounds like Vegas- we’re like that in July & August. Most of the year we’re just hot, though. 🙂

We’ve been having this kind of weather here in Georgia lately, too. It’s quite ridiculous, really. I just wish I knew what to expect from one minute to the next!

How the heck are you supposed to make plans with mother nature being in menopause?

The weather changes every 5 minutes around here in Indiana. Everyone told me when I moved here that if I didn’t like the weather to stick around for 5 minutes and it will change.

That’s crazy! But the sky in the second picture sure is beautiful.
