What is Your Wish? Check Out the UPS #WishesDelivered Campaign!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPS. All opinions are 100% mine.

UPS is hard at work delivering last minute gifts, making sure each present arrives at its destination in time. Every time I see one of their brown trucks driving down the street, I'm reminded that they are carrying far more than packages. UPS drivers are charged with very precious cargo, they are carrying wishes.

Whether toys a Mother scrimped and saved for to gift to her children or an heirloom being passed down through generations, these packages and the thought behind them are priceless. Each box contains a magical story - UPS wants to share these stories and make the holidays even more special with your help, by giving back to charity!

Starting on November 10 and running through the end of the year - December 31, 2014 - UPS #WishesDelivered Holiday Campaign is a fantastic program that donates to fabulous charity partners. How it works is: for every wish submitted with the #WishesDelivered hashtag, UPS will donate $1 to charities such as Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or Toys for Tots, up to $100,000! Share your wish Twitter or Instagram, keep in mind each wish should revolve around helping others. Perhaps your neighbors have had a rough year and your wish for them is to have a full dinner or the homeless shelter in your area to have plenty of blankets and coats to hand out. Maybe your wish is that the the animal rescue near you receive new toys and food for each animal. This is a fantastic way to be creative on how you would pay it forward.

By using #WishesDelivered, your wishes are automatically submitted submitted to raise money for charity. I submitted a wish to help a local animal rescue center, one of my favorite local charities.

Alternatively, visit the #WishesDelivered site and submit your wish there. Some of the amazing wishes granted so far have been gift cards for children to purchase toys, as many as 10,000 coats were delivered to children in need in Michigan, and in New Jersey a tent-city was gifted much needed clothing, propane tanks, and more.

To me, this is what the Holiday season is about. Giving! It warms my heart that those in need are getting well deserved items and I'm glad that I can help by submitting a simple wish.

What’s your wish? Visit the #WishesDelivered site and submit it!

I have nothing but tremendous respect for UPS drivers. Not only they're delivering "wishes", but they have to deal with everything: heavy packages, rudeness, and bad weather.

Another great thing with UPS is that you can also have them hold a package at the distribution center for pickup. This means that you can keep a package a surprise as it never shows up at the door.
