Watches - the tried and true fashion accessory!

A few days before Christmas, my husband realized that he needed a watch right this very second. So off we went to the mall during the craziest time of year - the day before Christmas Eve! He ended up with a really nice watch and I have to admit, he looks rather dapper with it on. Me? I check my cell for the time.

Lame,  I know! After seeing him sporting his watch, I am beginning to want one too! Sure, we always have our phones on us, but wearing a watch is just different.

For me, as a woman, a watch is another piece of jewelry - it's really an accessory as much as it is a timepiece. I've always leaned towards gold and silver toned watches because they match whatever jewelry I wear, and they look fabulous on their own!

I love having a little bit of glitz on my wrist that I don't have to worry about taking off and putting on - I normally wear my watch 24/7.

The last watch I wore was a beautiful gold and silver toned watch, much like the Citizen Eco drive watches that are so popular today. I love the crystal detailing, they add a little extra oomph!

I hope that my husband is reading this...

Do you wear a watch? Is it just a time piece or does it have any special meaning to you?

I have a watch, but its funny, even when I wear it, I tend to pull out my cell phone to check the time instead of looking at my watch!

I always break watches. It would be nice if I could grow up and keep nice things.
