I was provided a complimentary copy of Walt Disney's Peter Pan Return to Neverland Special Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack in order to facilitate my review.
For the first time ever, Walt Disney's Peter Pan Return to Neverland is available on Blu-ray!
From the same writers that brought you The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea and Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas comes Peter Pan: Return to Never Land.
Jane, the daughter of Wendy is a very practical, straight forward kind of girl is thrown into a whole new world when Captain Hook kidnaps her thinking she is her Mother, Wendy. In true Peter Pan style he saves Jane and whisks her off to his hideaway but Jane wants none of his fun nonsense. She just wants to go home.
In order for Jane to get home she will have to learn to fly, and in order to fly she will have to believe. Faith...Trust…and Pixie Dust! But things go all wrong when Peter Pan tries to teach Jane how to fly. So bad that Jane tells Tinker Bell she doesn't believe in fairies and Tinks light may go out if they can't get Jane to believe.
Walt Disney's Peter Pan Return to Neverland definitely has some similarities to the original Peter Pan. The girl being saved by Peter Pan, Tinker Bell's jealousy over the new girl, Captain Hook is the forever bad guy and Peter Pan's fascination with the girl all ring a bell, but Peter Pan Return to Neverland has a story all its own. It's a story that is filled with realizing your mistakes, new friendships, bravery and believing in the world of make-believe.
For the first time ever the Disney Vault released Peter Pan, Return to NeverLand on Blu-Ray on August 20th and is available in a Blu-Ray Combo Pack which includes a Blu-Ray, a regular DVD PLUS a Digital Copy which you can redeem through sites such as Amazon.com.

I have never seen this one. I will need to check it out as the boys love the original.

Oh ano†her one to add to our Blu-ray collection! I'm a big fan of Tinker Bell 🙂
Donna
I love Peter Pan. My favorite version is the non-animated one with Sandy Duncan as Peter Pan, but my son has never seen it. He loves this version.

I love that too, but the Disney movies are always my favorite - they can get so much more creative with animation 🙂
