Yippee, the 2013 release schedule from Walt Disney Pictures has been announced!
So, what do we have to look forward to in the movie theaters in 2013? Lots of great stuff!
The Disney movie magic beings on March 8 with Oz The Great and Powerful – starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Zach Braff.
When small-time magician Oscar Diggs (James Franco) pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful Wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.
And then…what all of us fan girls are eagerly anticipating… Iron Man 3 release date May 3
Iron Man 3 returns Robert Downey Jr. as the iconic Super Hero character Tony Stark/Iron Man along with Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes and Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan.
Another “Oh my gosh, I can’t wait” movie? Monsters University comes to theaters June 21!!

And then… The Lone Ranger opens in theaters on July 3 2013!

Ah…and then there’s Disney’s The Little Mermaid opening on September 13.

November 8: THOR: THE DARK WORLD (Marvel Studios)
Walt Disney Animation Studios has scheduled Frozen to open in theaters on November 27, 2013.
From the studio behind 2010’s “Tangled” and this year’s “Wreck-It Ralph,” Walt Disney Animation Studios presents “Frozen,” the coolest comedy-adventure ever to hit the big screen. When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna (voice of Kristen Bell), a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, a funny snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
