Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches – A Quick After School Snack #TysonGoodness #CBias

Now that school is back in session, it’s time to start thinking about filling and delicious after school snacks for the kids. Luckily, there are plenty of options that leave kids satiated, parent’s wallets still full and smiles all around!

I’ve blogged before about Tyson Mini Chicken sandwiches – they’re a quick and easy menu option any time of the day!

My daughter is a teenager and going through a major growth spurt – combine that with her taking a two hour long physical education class three times a week and you can imagine that she is always starving when she comes home from school! I keep the fridge and freezer stocked with after school snack options, ranging from smoothies to fresh fruits to Tyson Mini Chicken sandwiches for when she is really hungry. If I’ve been really busy during the day and skipped lunch, we will often share something, like a pack of Tyson Mini Chicken sandwiches. My daughter loves them after school because they taste great and are filling enough that she’s no longer hungry, but they don’t ruin her appetite for dinner.

I went shopping this past Friday at my local Walmart, in search of a way to spruce up the Tyson Mini Chicken sandwiches with cheese to make them a little different and exciting – I don’t want my daughter to get bored with the same old thing…I heard that there was going to be a demonstration with Tyson and Kraft, but I must have missed it! So I decided to come up with my own idea. You can read about my shopping trip in this Google+ story.

The Tyson Mini Chicken sandwiches are really easy to prepare, so it made my after school snack recipe really easy to prepare!

Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwich with a Kick!
