London

London is one of the world’s best known metropolises and it is easy to understand why. The city is a cultural and political center and a melting pot of people from different backgrounds.

Walk anywhere around London and you will hear various languages, dialects and everything in between. The iconic Houses of Parliament are known around the world and the historic Buckingham Palace is a must see for any royalist.

If sport is your thing then you have to visit one of London’s globally celebrated Premier League football clubs, be it Arsenal, Fulham or Crystal Palace.

Whilst these teams don’t quite have the cultural cache of true international giants like Barcelona, Celtic, AC Milan or Real Madrid, they are still storied institutions with fascinating sporting histories.

Paris

If art is your thing then it is impossible to ignore a city that many consider to be one of the most artistic in the world. Paris, the city of love, has been the center of so many influential movements in European art that the number is almost impossible to count.

Museums like the Louvre and d’Orsay contain some of the world’s most important cultural and historical artefacts. Painters like Matisse, Picasso and Kandinsky have walked the French capital’s storied streets. Other than art, the city boasts incredible French cuisine and inspiring architecture.

It’s hard not to feel inspired by the Eiffel Tower, one of the world’s most recognizable buildings. Despite a fire in 2019, Notre Dame Cathedral is still a beauty worthy of all the plaudits that come its way. Bon voyage!

Seville

This iberian gem is situated in Andalucia, in the sun-drenched south of Spain. The city was once Spain’s main import center for gold, and the city’s past wealth and splendor is still visible today.

The gothic style of the city’s center is admired by architectural enthusiasts and tourists alike. Seville cathedral is the largest gothic church building and the 4th largest cathedral in the world.

It is also Europe’s hottest city, with Summer temperatures routinely going over 40 degrees Celsius (that’s 104 Fahrenheit!). If you are lucky enough to get to Seville then you must visit one of the famous flamenco bars, where Andalucia’s traditional style of music and dance are on clear display.

Berlin

Berlin is a city with an incredible recent history. After the fall of the Berlin wall in the late 80s and subsequent German reunification, the German capital went through somewhat of a renaissance.

Aside from the impressive neoclassical architecture of buildings like the Reichstag, Berlin has a thriving electronic music and alternative culture scene. Well worth a visit!
