My Travel Essentials Kit Includes Advil® Film-Coated Tablets!

I am participating in a sponsored campaign hosted by fast acting Advil® Film-Coated and I received a free sample of Advil® Film-Coated. This is a sponsored post for SocialStars by Crowdtap. All opinions expressed are my own. #FastAdvil

Let’s face it, pain happens. My daily schedule is pretty full and I’m far too busy to tap out due to pain. Keeping up with my busy schedule can sometimes cause stress headaches or the occasional migraine. Every once in awhile I get other aches and pains – particularly after traveling – or the occasional toothache, but I don’t want them to slow me down. Advil® has been part of my no-pain arsenal for years and Advil® Film-Coated is a fast acting option to keep me on my feet – or at my desk, where I usually spend most of my days!

Fast Acting Advil® Film-Coated #FastAdvil

Advil® Film-Coated is effective for treating headaches, toothaches, and menstrual cramps – most of us need a little help with those and ice cream
doesn’t always cut it, does it? It is also helpful in easing pain from common colds, muscular aches, and even arthritis. I suffer from Carpal Tunnel, and while it isn’t a severe case, it often flares up after an especially busy week of blogging. It really crimps my style when taking photos and writing blog posts, and don’t even get me started on trying to Tweet/Instagram constantly while on a press trip for the blog. Advil® Film-Coated has my back – well, my hands and wrists as it were!

While regular Advil® also contain ibuprofen, fast acting Advil® Film-Coated contains an ion core of ibuprofen sodium, a salt form of ibuprofen. It’s more soluble in water than the standard ibuprofen, so it is absorbed quickly into the body. Advil® Film-Coated also has a ultra thin coating that dissolves quickly.

I know I speak for the majority when I say we don’t want to sit around and wait for pain relief, the faster the better! Many people think that because I work from home, I have all the time in the world to do whatever I want. I know that my fellow work-at-home readers are nodding right now, because it’s exactly the opposite! Because I work from home, I end up being responsible for pretty much everything, since my husband lacks the freedom to get creative with his work schedule. On a normal day, I put in about 7 or 8 hours into the blog, whether it’s cooking a recipe for a blog post, engaging with followers on social media, writing posts or dealing with contracts and conference calls.

That doesn’t include the time spent attending events (I’m usually too busy to make it to very many), cleaning the house, taking care of our pets (we have seven!!), running errands, taking Angeline (or the pets) to doctor’s appointments…you name it, and I am in charge.

That’s probably why I get so many headaches…

Last week, on top of a very busy week on the blog after being away on a blog trip, I had to put together the last-minute touches on Angeline’s birthday party. Guess who woke up with a headache the morning of the party? Yep. ME! Fortunately, I had Advil® Film-Coated on hand and was able to take care of that nasty headache and still manage to enjoy the party!

Angeline's Birthday Party

Life doesn’t stop because you have a headache, and that applies to at both home AND while you’re away!

Travel Tip

You know those to-go bottles of pain relievers that you can buy at the cash register in gas stations and convenience stores? The next time you buy one, save the bottle and refill it with your Advil® Film-Coated tablets. That way you can take a small amount of pain reliever with you wherever you go, and eliminate the need to run to the store when a headache pops up and you are out and about!

October 2014 021

I have a collection of a few of these tiny bottles and I always keep one in my purse, one in my carry-on as well as one in my travel essentials kit.

Hey, I told you – I suffer from frequent headaches. Once you’ve paid $15 USD for a package of 4 tablets in a hotel gift shop in Barbados, you begin to think ahead about seemingly inconsequential things like packing pain relievers when you travel!

My kit includes: Advil® Film-Coated pain reliever, bandages, wetting drops (my eyes get uncomfortable in dry climates), hair bands, a small sewing kit, lip balm, nail clippers, nail polish remover, lotion and fragrant oil.

travel

Advil® Film-Coated is the newest innovation from Advil®, having been designed to be absorbed quickly by the body. It provides fast, powerful Advil relief and goes to work in minutes so that it stops that headache in its tracks. With 200mg of ibuprofen in each tablet, no other pain reliever has been proven to work faster or stronger!

Do you suffer from headaches? Stop suffering and take some Advil®!

I suffer more from headaches when the seasons are changing. I do keep pain reliever on hand (in my purse) for the random moments that I do have a headache. I need something that works FAST because who has time to deal with pain??

Shucks! Could there be another reason why you are getting that many headaches? Sometimes it is because your body is dehydrated, or change of the seasons…which happens to many who get migraines. It also could be related to something you are eating… Splenda, coffee sweeteners would give me severe headaches before I cut it out of my diet. Bill Schnoebelen has a few new videos – one called “cancer wars”, and another free on youtube called “The Medical Conspiracy ” which really opened my eyes up to asprin and other pain killers. Your body may be calling out to something ELSE which is happening which you should try to investigate.

I always carry some sort of pain reliever with me. I try to keep it in the original bottle because I have 2 sneaky little kiddos- and I worry that if they got into it I would not know what to tell the emergency service that they had ingested. Yep- I am a worry wart!

I used to be a consumer who purchased Advil for my migraines, aches, pains and arthritis pains. Sadly, they stopped working and I was taking it every day. After a while it started to show signs of damage to my kidneys. So, I have to use Aleve now as its easier on my liver.
