When you're a curly-haired, 30 something woman with a penchant for allergies, your beauty bag doesn't travel lightly. Even though I would consider myself fairly low maintenance it still requires a team effort to keep my face together, my hair from frizzing away and my allergies in check during my travels. New climates, environmental stressors on my hair and skin, and allergens can all wear you down after prolonged exposure without any beauty treatments. Which is why I always travel with a few beauty staples that I *know* can hold up on, even on the busiest of travel trips. On a recent trip to San Francisco my beauty products were put through the ringer thanks to long days spent promoting an upcoming Pixar film.
A Peek Inside My Travel Beauty Bag
Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturizer with SPF 30 Broad Spectrum
I have to admit I haven't always taken care of my skin the way I should have. It's really a miracle that my face looks as youthful as it does, although it may have something to do with my Cherokee heritage but I digress. As of late I've been making an effort to take better care of it by moisturizing and treating with SPF.
Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream
This one is pretty self-explanatory - no one wants wrinkles. End of story.
Drybar 100 Proof Treatment Oil
When you practically live at the beach and have insanely curly hair, a treatment oil is a must. This one won me over because of it's shine and because it's a multitasker. It helps rejuvenate dry, damaged hair and eliminates frizz and flyaways. It can even be mixed with other products because it's so weightless - a rarity when it comes to hair treatment oils.
Yes To Cucumber Soothing Hypoallergenic Facial Wipes
Yes To offers an AMAZING line of natural beauty products that I can't get enough of. Each of their lines are named after a fruit or veggie and take care of different beauty problems. Their wipes are safe for sensitive skin, biodegradable, remove makeup, and hydrate.
Covergirl Clean Matte Bb Cream
I'm not a huge fan of makeup. I just don't have the time and it seems to wear off by the end of the day anyway. Which is why I keep it fairly basic with a Clean Matte BB Cream. It smooths out my complexion just enough and doesn't require primer or powder to help it set correctly. Win-win!
FLONASE® Sensimist™
Nothing undoes the work of a good beauty regimen like a puffy face, itchy and swollen eyes, and a red nose. After a long day spent touring the grounds of Pixar in San Francisco I could have easily been a hot mess thanks the beautifully landscaped pollen death traps, I mean gardens. Thankfully, FLONASE® Sensimist™ is now a staple in my travel bag. Like most allergy sufferers I use to treat my allergies with OTC medications but that didn't always provide the relief I need. FLONASE®Sensimist Allergy Relief is now a staple in my beauty bag because it DOES. It's non-drowsy relief last 24-hours and it treats all of my allergy nose-and eye-related** allergy symptoms, including: itchy and watery eyes, nasal congestion, runny nose, itchy nose, and sneezing. It even treats the symptoms caused by pollen, mold, dust and pet dander. Using FLONASE® Sensimist Allergy Relief is easy too. It's just a once daily spray delivered using unique MistPro technology to deliver one very powerful mist spray.
Because no two allergy sufferers are the same, FLONASE® Sensimist Allergy Relief helps block 6 key allergic inflammatory substances (histamine, prostaglandins, cytokines, tryptases, chemokines and leukotrienes) with full prescription strength.
You can pick up FLONASE® Sensimist at your local CVS Pharmacy! Did you know that 76% of the US population lives within 5 miles of a CVS Pharmacy? With over 9,000 CVS Pharmacy locations around the country, you’re bound to find a location near you! Click here to use their store locator.

My bag looks very similar to that but for some reason I have always forgot the facial wipes. I have got to remember those because that helps you feel so refreshed after traveling someplace.

I flew twice this month and had to take something both time for motion. I'm starting to think something is up with nasal passages and may have to give this a try!

I am already feeling my spring allergies kick in! I have to try Flonase. I am with you -- I feel like I am low maintenance, but still manage to have a ton of things in my bag!

We're only 3 miles from a CVS. Noone in our family has allergies, at least not right now. I bet those facial wipes smell great, I like the ones I use but I think I want to try the ones you're using for the scent.
Brianne
Your bag looks similar to my bag! And yes my allergies are super tough this season and will have to try this one out!
Becky
I really need to stock up on the facial wipes. I use them so much, especially when traveling, that I sometimes forget to get more for my travel bag. Adding that to my list of things to get for my next trip. 😉
Kristi
I always struggle what to pack, I think I just need to pin what you pack and copy it! Looks like you covered everything!
