Most teenagers don't get along with their parents. I thought my mother was crazy! Sound familiar?
Then I became a 19 year old single mother. I suddenly needed my mom for everything.
My mother helped me care for my newborn while I was recovering from my C-section surgery.
She drove me to work when I landed my first office job because I didn't have a car and the bus didn't go near the office.
She watched my daughter for me until she was two and a half years old to save me $600 a month in day care bills.
She babysat for me on Sunday nights so that I could go out, make friends and feel normal.
She watched my daughter before school for four years because I had to leave for work before the before-school care opened. When I got those frantic phone calls that my daughter was sick and needed to be picked up from school, it was usually my mother to the rescue.
My mother has helped me raise my daughter. And I will always be grateful. I love doing something special for Mother's Day, because she has done so much for me through the years.

I agree Mother's Rock I wouldn't be here without mine (well literally). Let's just say I wouldn't be the person that I am without her!

Inspiring words! As your mom helped you, so you are helping the women of Haiti by mentioning their products. Thank you!!! ~ Willa (co-founder, Heart of Haiti)
