If you are anything like me, then you probably have a closet full of clothes that you rarely, if ever, wear. One of the major downsides to being a shopaholic is that there just isn't enough room in your house for all of your finds!
I currently have two closets full of great clothes and designer handbags, but...I don't really use most of them. As part of my plan to de-clutter the house and renovate my spare bedroom, I've decided to consign a heaping pile of my Guess, White House/Black Market clothing and some of the Coach handbags that I don't use very often.
This fabulous company, Lolliposh, is having a really cool consignment event called Poshsicle, September 30th and October 1st in Broward County (in Florida). I'm going to take all of the things that I don't use very often and consign them. I'll free up some space in my closets and hopefully make a little money to help me on my next travel adventure!
I read through their website and found that I may be doing a little shopping as well as consigning...it sounds like just my kind of bargain-shopping paradise!
They advertise that items being sold are either brand new or like new, and sell for 50-70% off retail prices! Woo hoo! That's right in my price range! What I really love about this sale is that the items being consigned have to be brand name - so no knock offs, no Walmart specials, etc - it's all the same stuff I would find if I were to go shopping at brand name stores in the mall or specialty boutiques.
Here's a quick list of some of the brands they allow people to consign:
- Designers: Agnes B, Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Armani, Badgley Mischka, Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, Celine, Chanel, Chloe, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Donatella Versace, Donna Karan, Ellen Tracy, Escada, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, Helmut Lang, Herve Leger, Jean Paul Gaultier, Jill Sander, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Marni, Michael Kors, Nicole Miller, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Sonia Rykiel, Stella McCartney, Steve Madden, Stuart Weitzman, Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino, Vera Wang, Zac Posen
- Brands: Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, BCBG, bebe, Burberry, Citizens of Humanity, Coach, Cole Haan, D&G, Diesel, Dior, DKNY, Escada, Furla, Gap, Ghost, Guess, Haute Hippie, Hobo International, INC, Jones New York, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, L.A.M.B., Laundry, Lucky Brand Jeans, Max Mara, Missoni, Miu Miu, Moschino, Natori, Nine West, Prada, Rag & Bone, Rich and Skinny, Rock & Republic, Seven for all Mankind, Sisley, St. John Knits, Tadashi, Tahari, Theory, True Religion Jeans, White House/Black Market, Young Fabulous and Broke, Z Spoke

*I received compensation for this post, but all opinions are my own and I will definitely be shopping & consigning at this event!

I think you'll want to add a twitter icon to your blog. Just marked down the site, however I had to do this by hand. Simply my 2 cents.

Actually, there is a twitter icon in the top right hand corner.
