I’m going to be in NYC in a few weeks for the BlogHer conference, which means that I will be doing a lot of walking, a lot of riding the subway, and a lot of hailing cabs.

Do you know what that means?

I might have a chance to appear on CASH CAB!!

I am going to be keeping my eyes peeled for this face…

Cash Cab is one of the funniest game shows on TV, combining elements of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Family Feud and Candid Camera as taxi driver/comedian Ben Bailey picks up unsuspecting people hailing a cab and gives them a chance to win thousands.

If you aren’t familiar with the Cash Cab Game Show, here’s how it works:

You hail a cab…and if it is the Cash Cab, then you are a contestant!

The Cash Cab Game Show host asks you a series of questions while you are on your way to your destination, and for each question that you get right, you earn money. If you answer a question wrong, your ride is over and you get dropped off wherever you are at the moment and you don’t win anything – but you still got a ride for free!

The Emmy winning TV hit Cash Cab Game Show is now airing 5 days a week!

We love watching Cash Cab and playing along with the contestants on TV. My husband is really good at pop culture trivia and I am really good at music trivia, so we usually know most of the answers!

  2. I love a lot about NYC! Central Park is a great spot with lots to do! Tavern on the Green is a great restaurant but I heard it may be closed for reno’s 🙁 I hope you get the Cash Cab! We love Cash cab here at our house! Good luck and have fun! 🙂

  19. My favorite thing about NYC (besides the city itself) is people watching. You can find all types of people there and it can be quite entertaining to watch some of them.

  182. NYC has so many emotion attached to it for me…I don’t know if I could say my favorite part. I went there the day after my daughter’s funeral. It was supposed to be her wish trip.

  207. Favorite thing in NYC – it depends on what you like to do. There are musicals/shows, parks, museums, shopping, restaurants, and all sorts of other things. My favorites when younger were the museums and parks. Now, I think I’d like to catch a show and see some of the sights.

  439. I haven’t been to NYC, but I want to go to the statue of liberty, see a show on broadway, go to Carnegie Deli, and go to the WTC sight.

  455. My favorite thing is Carnegie Deli. We went there on our visit to NYC and it was delish and the atmosphere is amazing!
