This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group®, Litter Genie® and Fancy Feast®, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #Catparents http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

It's not often that you find someone who is a cat lover and a dog lover...but that's me! We have three dogs and four cats, and I tell you, pet supplies and pet food eat up a big chunk of our monthly grocery budget. I clip coupons, keep an eye out for weekly sales and when they'res any kind of special deal at the store, I pay close attention! Right now at Target stores, there's a special offer for Litter Genie & Fancy Feast products that is running through April 11th.

In Store Mix & Match Offer: Buy any 2 Fancy Feast® 24 pack OR Litter Genie® Pail/Refill and get a free Cat Toy or Friskies party mix cat treat. Offer available 2/15/15 – 4/11/15 or while supplies last.

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

My cats know the sound of treats. They recognize it a mile away! Hazel is our least affectionate cat, which always drives me crazy because she was a rescue. Angeline's teacher found her on the side of a road when she was a tiny kitten, and we adopted her. She was so small that we had to bottle feed her, and she was sick and required numerous trips to the vet. You'd think that she would be have bonded with us a little more after all that she went through as a baby, but nope! She ignores us most of the time and hangs out on top of the china cabinet in the dining room.

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

That is...until she hears the shuffling of a treat bag. But more on that later!

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

Like most cat parents, my least favorite part of having cats in the family is cleaning their litter box. Scooping littler, either smelling up the house by leaving the dirty litter in the garbage can, or making a trip outside every day to empty the dirty litter into the outside garbage...it's kind of a pain!

With the Litter Genie Pail, you can scoop the clumps from the litter box and just drop it into the Litter Genie and it seals in the waste and odor!

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

Just open the lid like you would any garbage can, drop in the yucky stuff, then pull in the handle to seal it all off. The waste is sealed for up to 14 days for one cat - we have four cats so obviously I have to change the bag every few days. It's much more convenient than running out to the outside garbage can to dispose of it!

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

I love that the Litter Genie is so compact and it can fit pretty much anywhere! We have it right next to the litter box in the utility room and it's out of the way.

The Litter Genie is a great solution to those with cats and dogs - because we all know that dogs love to eat cat litter! I know, I know, it's so gross! You can easily scoop the litter box daily and throw the waste into the Litter Genie to keep the dogs from getting at it.

Now, we have been feeding our cats Fancy Feast wet cat food for a few years now, and they are so used to it that they turn their nose up at their dry food. When we fostered kittens for the Humane Society, Purina supplied all the food for the animals, so I would be sent home with a case of Fancy Feast kitten food. Since the fosters were eating it, and our other cats could smell it, I just fed it to EVERYONE. With four cats, you can imagine that costs add up, so any special savings or deal makes me very happy!

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

With this awesome offer at Target, I was able to get a bag of Friskies Party Mix cat treats for free, and when I tell you that we go through a lot of treats, believe me: we go through a lot of treats!

I hadn't actually tried the Friskies Party Mix cat treats before finding this special offer, but Hazel absolutely loves them! I'm going to have to start buying them more often!

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

Of course my cats love Fancy Feast cat food. They come in different varieties like grilled, sliced, classic (which is ground), and gravy...I think our cats love them all equally!

For over 25 years, Fancy Feast has been committed to preparing the most enjoyable gourmet meals for your cat. Their quest for culinary perfection is a pursuit to bring love and joy along with balanced nutrition.
Every delicious Fancy Feast selection is made with high-quality protein sources and ingredients.

As soon as I pop open the lid on a can of Fancy Feast, the cats run to the family room and line up where I feed them their wet food twice a day.

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

Tarzan loves his wet food so much, sometimes he purrs while he is eating! It's the cutest thing ever.

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

And this is the only time Stripes, the old man of the cat family, wants to be anywhere near the other kitties.

    #CatParents #Pmedia #ad

Head over to Target and take advantage of this special offer before supplies run out!

Awe your cats are so adorable! We have 4 cats in the home so I hear you on how expensive it can get to keep them happy and fed. One of our cats has dental issues and can only eat soft so so I love how big the selection is at Target!

What gorgeous cats! I've never had a cat before, just dogs, but have several friends with cats and I adore them. Not sure why I haven't ever had one for a pet. I will share this with them, and I bet they will love that litter genie!
