I was checking my Twitter Sunday night before I went to sleep. My timeline was entirely consumed with "Osama Bin Laden is Dead!" tweets. I quickly turned on the television and my husband and I watched with the rest of the country as news station after news station began to announce that Osama Bin Laden had been killed.
I really shouldn't get my news from Twitter. I realize that it's a very informative social media network, but when it comes to hardcore, important NEWS, I would prefer to rely on something more serious.
On Monday, I began searching for an app that dealt with current events. I discovered the collection app for the iPad.
The collection is a media-rich monthly "appazine" that publishes articles, audio, photos and videos! It uses ground-breaking innovation to deliver a highly inter-active design that ensures an extremely compelling and entertaining experience for it's users. I became excited reading about it!
Aside from the informative aspect, the collection offers panoramic photography, 3D digital animation, creative morphing, rubbing and X-ray lenses. The entire app is built so that the user is surprised at every swipe or tab of the iPad screen.
Because the collection is a brand new app, they are running a contest to WIN a brand new iPad with the collection app already installed!
The contest is so easy, I've already entered! All you have to do is tweet before May 15! tweet to enter
