Can you believe we're only a couple of short weeks away from Valentine's Day? It's a day we celebrate love and usually it brings to mind our romantic interest. But what about the other loves of our lives? The apples of our eye? Of course, I'm talking about our kids! February 14th is a great day to shower them with love too. This Valentine's Day, Hershey is challenging everyone to do things a little differently with #HSYMessageOfLove. Everyone is familiar with the Easter Basket, but Hershey wants to start the tradition of creating Valentine’s Day baskets for your loved ones. Isn't this a great idea?

Include Hershey's treats as part of your favorite Valentine’s Day tradition, and start a new one with a Valentine’s Day basket!

Spread Love with Hershey's Valentine's Day Baskets #HSYMessageOfLove

The baskets are super easy to make thanks to the Target $1 Spot. You can pick up adorable buckets for $5 or less, paper filling and cards for $1 plus adorable goodies like the "Is It Friday Yet?" notepad. Then I swung over to the beauty section and for fingernail polish and emery boards.

Last but not least, Target has a huge selection of Hershey's Valentine's Day goodies like Hershey’sKisses Conversation Candies - which are ONLY available at Target - as well as Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Hearts filled with Caramel and Reese’s Conversation Cups.

Spread Love with Hershey's Valentine's Day Baskets #HSYMessageOfLove

There are SO MANY different sweet options for Valentine's Day from Hershey's - you can totally go crazy and individualize each Valentine's Day Basket for each of your children or other family and friends. Just have fun with it...and don't forget to treat yourself too!

The whole basket cost less than $20 and is a fun way to show my kid I'm thinking about her. But showing love is about more than gifts, it's spending time together too. Which is why I created this Hershey Valentine's Day Blondies recipe for you and your little (or big) loves to create together.

My favorite is anything with peanut butter... but those hearts with filled with caramel sure look good too. A fun idea to make a basket... cause who doesn't love chocolate!
