I returned from Orlando this evening completely drained. I had an incredible time visiting the theme parks with my daughter and niece, but it was exhausting. I was making excellent time on the Florida Turnpike and was expecting to be home by 3 pm.
There was an accident. As most Floridians know, a traffic accident on the Turnpike usually means severe delays. Severe, as in it took us an hour to go 10 miles.
So I was extremely cranky as I walked in the front door. Then I saw this sitting on the kitchen table:
Now, you may not know what that is, but I did. It’s a gift basket delivered by SmileyCookie.com! I had almost forgotten that they were arriving while I was in Orlando, but as soon as I saw the box, I broke out in smiles.
Of course, I’ve already eaten one! I received a box of cute sugar cookies, each complete with a smiley face. What’s more uplifting than a sugar cookie with a smile?
SmileyCookie.com started over 20 years ago at the restaurant Eat’n Park, the Place for Smiles. Soon after, the happy cookie became more than the symbol of a happy dining experience – it became a symbol of commitment to community and charitable giving…ultimately, it became the mascot of the company.
Every kid that eats at Eat’n Park receives their very own delicious smiley cookie. That’s more than 1 million free cookies every year! Smiley Cookies are distributed to community, charity and fundraising events; in fact, every year, more than 200,000 smiling cookies are donated to local non-profit organizations.
I don’t know about you, but that makes me smile too.
SmileyCookie.com has a wide selection of adorable cookies that you can customize by color, theme or shape or just go with the standard, which is pretty adorable! Their website is easy to navigate; you can search their selections by occasion, price, holiday or customize your own cookies!
I especially love it that they have nut free and kosher options. They really have all of your bases covered!
They make great favors for birthday parties, baby showers, graduation parties and weddings, too!
Speaking of which, I need to go order a batch to have sent to my grandfather’s birthday next month!
Don’t forget to Like SmileyCookie on Facebook to keep up to date on new product offerings and specials!
