Sell Your Items Through the eBay Mobile App

With Christmas coming up and my savings account depleted by having to buy a last minute plane ticket for Angeline to New Mexico, it's time to look for ways to make a few dollars before I have to finish up my Christmas shopping!

I've always been a huge fan of buying on eBay and used to sell a ton of stuff on there too! I haven't sold anything in a while, but I thought I'd check out their new eBay Mobile app for selling something - anything that I can do right from my iPhone while I'm in the middle of doing a million other things is a-okay in my book!

It's really easy to use the eBay Mobile app for bidding, Buy It Now, or selling, you just login like you would online, and there are tabs at the bottom of your screen for each function.

Right now there is even a separate tab for finding holiday gifts under $100!

One you login to eBay Mobile app, you just go to the Sell tab and either scan the bar code of the item you are going to list on eBay or manually enter in the information. I was selling a Sharper Image gadget for the iPhone that I received as swag as a conference, and the UPC wasn't in the system, so I manually entered in my information for the item.

After you enter in the information, you can take photos directly from your iPhone and they upload into the listing! It is so much easier than taking photos, uploading them to them computer and then browsing for the photos and uploading to eBay!

You can add up to 12 photos of your item, but since mine was pretty simple and self explanatory, I just uploaded one that I made with a collage in an app.

After your photos are uploaded, you can begin entering the information for the listing, just like you would using the online eBay website.

You can go through each area of the listing and set up shipping, insurance requirements, whether the item is new or not, where it's coming from etc!

It only took me about 5 minutes to complete the eBay Mobile app listing from start to finish!

You can set the minimum bidding price, a reserve price, Buy It Now option all from the eBay Mobile app, and it even tells you exactly what the fees are before you publish the listing so that there are no surprises!

Once you complete all of the information, you can see the final product and confirm whether or not you want to change anything before it goes live!

All in all, I would have to say that I actually liked listing an item from the eBay Mobile app better than doing it on the eBay website. The fact that I can do it on the go, from anywhere in the house and I don't have to take photos and upload them to the computer before creating my listing? I am all about taking the less complicated way!

Now I just have to go through some of my other goodies in my "what will we ever do with this neat gadget?" drawer in the spare bedroom to see if I have anything else I can sell on eBay to bring in a little extra cash for holiday shopping!

You can download the eBay Mobile app here, whether you want to do some holiday shopping or sell a few items to bring in a little extra cash this holiday season!

    Happy eBay-ing!

I used to sell on ebay all the time, but it got to be too much hassle. I will have to try this out, it looks much easier. Maybe I can finally clean out some of my stuff and declutter!

So I'm thinking that if I were visiting my mom or something and she wanted to get rid of something, I could list it right from her house! Sweet!

Wow! That did look easy. Thanks for posting. I didn't realize eBay had an app like that available. I really need to de-clutter a few rooms and the extra money could come in handy this time of year!

I have a bunch of vintage stuff in storage that I need to put on eBay. Hopefully by the time I get a chance to do it, I'll have a Smartphone that can support this app!

I have so much stuff to sell, but not wanting to take, upload & then download pics is what has stopped me. So I love this idea- I'm definitely going to have to try it out!!
