Saying Goodbye to Pet Hair with the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum MC-UL427

As most of you know, I am a bit of an animal hoarder lover. While my little furry friends bring our family lots of love, they also bring us a lot of fur...that falls out onto our floors, carpets, couches, baseboards...everywhere! Fortunately, I just received a brand new Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum MC-UL427 a few weeks ago!

Chris has been so understanding with my wanting to adopt two new kittens after our cat Luna died a while ago, and I really want to keep the pet hair situation under as much control as possible. When our old vacuum began to die on us a few months ago, I was terrified that I was going to have to begin sweeping the house each day!

Can you imagine the horror!?

Thank goodness my new Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum arrived before I had to resort to that...

It was so easy to put the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum together. The handle simply snaps onto the vacuum and you secure it into place with one screw - that's it! Then I just had to attach the hose to the nozzle and remove the little tape that secured the purple edge in place.

The whole thing took me about 10 minutes and that was only because it took me 5 minutes to find a screwdriver!

The Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum is a bagless vacuum cleaner with a 12 amp motor so it is pretty powerful. I love this because with pet hair and pet dander on top of the normal dust and whatnot on the floor, I need a vacuum with a lot of suction to really get the floors clean. There are different settings for carpet, bare floor and attachment tools, which neither of my old vacuums had. All of the attachments are super easy to get to - they are all conveniently placed so that you can quickly switch back and forth between the different tools.

The attachments include a stretch hose, wand, dusting brush and crevice tool, so there is a tool for every job! I just the crevice tool for cleaning the baseboards and vacuuming the cobwebs in the corners of the wall!

The attachments are important in my cleaning routine because Bailey and Toby are always on couch and they shed so much! The brush attachment for the hose is easy to snap on and does a great job of removing all of the dog hair off of the couch pillows!

The different settings for carpet and bare floor are great for me because I need a vacuum that can easily transition between cleaning the carpets in the bedrooms, the tile in the bathroom and family room, and the laminate flooring in the rest of the house. With all of the pets we have, I love that I can easily vacuum the living room and dining room that has wood laminate and all I have to do once I enter the carpeted bedrooms is just tap it into place for carpets!

As I put the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum together, I noticed the Good Housekeeping seal of approval, which is always a good sign!!

You simply pull the power cord out, and you can retract the power cord by tapping the button with your foot or of course, your hand. I really like this because I am constantly running over the power cord when I am vacuuming and that will no longer be an issue because I can keep the cord tight!

I have used the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum MC-UL427 a few times in the past week - I normally vacuum every day to avoid a furball build up - and this vacuum is so lightweight and easy to maneuver that it only takes me about 25 minutes to do the entire house! The Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum MC-UL427 is so light that instead of using the hose attachments to vacuum the bottom couch cushions, I just lift up the vacuum and vacuum it like any other surface!

I typically will tidy up the house around 1 pm each day, before Angeline and Chris get home. That gives me time to do plenty of blog work in the morning, to run my errands or do laundry. Even if I don't do anything else around the house, just vacuuming up makes a big difference!

Now, while the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum isn't my first bagless upright vacuum cleaner, it is the first one with a washable filter. I haven't had to wash it yet but I think it's awesome that I can just wash it out and not have to worry about paying for a new one!

Not only does the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum clean my floors, couches and the curtains (yes, I use it to clean the dog hair off the curtains too!), but it's so easy to empty it once the canister is full!

The bagless vacuums I have had in the past just collected the hair and dirt in the canister and it just poofed out when I went to empty it out into the garbage can. With Panasonic's Jet Force design, all of the pet hair that is vacuumed up gets compressed at the bottom of the canister. All of the dirt and debris form into a compact wreath that just falls right into the garbage!

That's right, the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum weights just about 16 pounds! Most upright vacuum cleaners weight around 20 pounds, so you can imagine how much easier it is to move this one around the house - and to pick it up and vacuum the couch cushions with it!

With us adopting two new kittens, and the holidays upon us, I am so grateful to have this awesome new vacuum cleaner! I really have no excuse not to vacuum every day when the Panasonic Jet Force Vacuum makes it so easy!
