Save Time & Money with the Walmart Savings Catcher App #WMTSavingsCatcher

I shopped savvy using Walmart Saving Catcher, as part of a sponsored post for Crowdtap #WMTSavingsCatcher.

Have you ever used the Walmart® Savings Catcher? Whether you use the online version or the mobile app, the Walmart Savings Catcher is an awesome way to save money while you grocery shop at Walmart!

The process is super simple: just download the Walmart Savings Catcher app (or register online at Walmart.com/SavingsCatcher), go grocery shopping at your neighborhood Walmart store, then scan your receipt!

The app will scour the local competition and if those stores have a printed ad with a lower price than you paid at Walmart, the Walmart Savings Catcher app will deposit the difference in your account as an e-credit within three days. The app will notify you by email to let you know how much you've saved, and you can look at the details in the app itself.

Tip: Make sure you scan it within 7 days of your shopping trip, or it will expire. You can take a quick look at the Savings Catcher FAQ's for more detailed information. 

With the Walmart Savings Catcher, you can be sure that you will always receive the lowest price for your qualifying groceries, or you get that money back into your account! I have been using the Walmart Savings Catcher app for a while now and I am always surprised by how much I save. On a recent shopping trip, I just picked up about 20 things and I received a $4.94 credit! Once you reach a minimum balance of $5.00, you can redeem your credit in the form of a Walmart e-gift card, which can be used online or in stores.

I went grocery shopping at Walmart last week for pet supplies and a few pantry staples for Angeline and I (I am doing a meal planning challenge so I had to buy quite a few groceries). I was able to use my coupons as usual and STILL save money using the Walmart Savings Catcher!

I have been a user of coupons for a long time - it's such an easy way to save money. I know that a lot of people do price matching between their local stores to make the most of their savings, but I honestly just don't have the time or the patience to price match! I love that the Walmart Savings Catcher app allows me to totally skip price matching without having any guilt and I still get the benefit of the savings!

    Reading this reminded me that I never looked in to this after I was at Walmart! They gave me some information when I checked out but completely forgot to even look into it. Now I know what it is at least! It does look like you have a lot of opportunity to save.

    I think that it's great that your allowed to earn $599 a year cash back which is like a Christmas savings account for us.
