I don’t know about you, but it seemed like the summer flew by! It’s August and the back to school season is upon us again. This can be hectic for kids and parents. Parents have a laundry list of things to tackle such as enrolling their children in the proper classes, planning lunches, and making sure physicals are up to date. Kids have to leave their carefree summer days behind and get back into the school routine, making sure they have everything on their list and planning the perfect first day of school look. It’s important to approach this time of year with a gameplan to avoid adding any additional stress.

Sears understands how difficult it can be for families getting back to school and have many fantastic features to help things go smoothly as well as great sales to help us save money! From top to bottom, Sears is my trusted partner for all my back to school needs. If you haven't done your back to school shopping at Sears yet, take advantage of the Friends and Family Sale happening online at Sears.com starting this Saturday, August 9! Thank goodness I'll be home this weekend - Angeline and I are already planning our back to school shopping trip!

Save Time and Money With Sears Back to School Shopping!

Take advantage of online shopping! I love the ease of being able to visit Sears.com and browse through their extensive catalog. I can shop apparel, electronics, and more! Of course, I can snag all the best deals...

Use free store pick-up. This is a feature I’m pretty infatuated with. Rather than waiting on shipping, I shop online and choose the free store pick-up option. All I have to do then is swing by my Sears store to grab my items.

Try drive-thru shopping! There’s a new feature with the Shop Your Way app that I can use to tell the store that I’ve arrived and they’ll bring my purchases right to my car! Drive thru shopping, wow!

Make the most of your rewards points! I’m a huge fan of rewards points. With Shop Your Way, I can earn points with my purchases during back to school (or any other time) and then cash them in for something on my wish list or even save them back for holiday gifts. With all of the expenses of back to school shopping, I really appreciate being able to earn a little something back! This is on top of any regular sales Sears may have, and can be used with various discount codes too!

    sears back to school sale

ShopYourWay.com allows me to connect with like minded shoppers while I research and browse products. I've been a member of Shop Your Way Rewards for years and I absolutely adore it! In addition to it being a fun shopping environment, you can really save a lot of money through the program, both by qualifying for special sales and discounts and earning rewards (who translate to dollars off) on your future purchases. It's an absolute MUST if you do any shopping at Sears and KMart.

Try super cool style for under $50! for With the Seventeen Fashion Collection available at Sears, Angeline can pick her favorite styles and everything retails for under $50 - if you have teenagers, then you realize how fantastic this collection is! Sometimes I feel like I need a second job just to pay for back to school shopping, so finding an entire line under $50 makes this mom very, very happy! Angeline can choose an amazing first day of school outfit - and the rest of the week - without breaking the bank.

    sears seventeen styles

I saw a Sears commercial the other day and it made me smile and nod. A girl walked through her lunch line and told the cashier to keep the change. She strutted her stuff to the table and knew she was looking good. It’s amazing how the right outfit can help you feel fantastic and more self confident, which is so important for girls during those stressful teenage years! Sears has created a series of fun web videos showcasing the confidence a new look can provide. Check out the Back to School, Back to Wah?! videos for inspiring fun!

What are you waiting for? Go check out the awesome back to school fashions at Sears and take advantage of the awesome Friends and Family sale! Is there anything in particular that your kids are asking for in anticipation of the new school year?

Drive-thru shopping? Now that's cool. I love to use rewards also. I normally hoard them until Christmas time so I can get presents for the kids without having to break the bank.

Sears is great. There was a time when Sears was synonymous with bad products, but they've bounced back. All of their products are really well made now. I love them.

We shop our way all the time with the rewards program at SEARS, from clothes to appliances, and I am excited about the friends and family sale. Just in time for the new season (luckily, in So Cal, I can make ANY season's clothes stretch throughout the year!)
