I love Sandra Bullock. Ever since The Net, I've loved so many of her movies...but there are five that really stand out for me. I think everyone should see them!
5 Sandra Bullock Movies You MUST See!
Hope Floats
Birdee Calvert must choose between her morals and her heart after her husband divorces her and a charming young man, who her daughter disapproves of, comes back into her life.
I loved this movie for so many reasons: Harry, the romance, the romance with Harry...but mostly, because Sandra Bullock showed us that hope is real!
Miss Congeniality
An FBI agent must go undercover in the Miss United States beauty pageant to prevent a group from bombing the event.
Really? What's not to love about Miss Congeniality? It's silly, it has a great plot twist - I cracked up the entire time! This movie was so funny that Angeline would beg to come home from school and watch it for weeks on end!
The Lake House
A lonely doctor who once occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging love letters with its former resident, a frustrated architect. They must try to unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary romance before it's too late.
I don't enjoy very many chick flicks, and that's totally what The Lake House was. But this story was so beautiful, and Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves gave us such a powerful connection - it was magical!
The Lake House is one of those movies that whenever I see it's on TV, I watch it!
Premonition
Depressed housewife learns her husband was killed in a car accident the day previously, awakens the next morning to find him alive and well at home, and then awakens the next day after to a world in which he is still dead.
This is one of my favorite Sandra Bullock movies, because of the plot, because of the acting. I think that the wrong actress could have made this a total box office flop, but Sandra Bullock totally carried the movie!
The Heat
Oscar Winner Sandra Bullock* and Oscar Nominee Melissa McCarthy are a “dynamite duo” in this outrageously funny comedy from the director of Bridesmaids, Paul Feig. Uptight FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock) and foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy) couldn't be more incompatible. But when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected...buddies.
I just received The Heat to review a few weeks ago and Chris and I watched it on movie night. We both loved it! I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard!
