Quick & Easy Breakfast with Frusion C-Charged Smoothies #TryFrusionFree

Now that Angeline has gone back to school, I’m really missing the lazy days of summer. Mornings were enjoyable when we had nowhere to rush off too – and her 7:20 am start time comes awfully early in the morning! It can be so hard to make sure that Angeline has breakfast before school, what with her rushing around to get ready, grabbing all of her school stuff and with me walking around like a zombie. We all know that kids NEED breakfast – but it’s especially important for Angeline to have breakfast because with her crazy school lunch schedule, she often can’t get through the lunch line quickly enough to eat lunch before her next class. I was asked to try out the new Frusion C-Charged Smoothies as part of a paid blog campaign, and of course I said yes! Angeline and I love smoothies and make them all the time, but we rarely have time in the morning to prepare them. I knew this would be a great way to give Angeline a quick and easy breakfast without the hassle!

Now, of course there are really simple breakfast items that I could just hand Angeline on the way out the door, like donuts, pastries, etc…but we are trying to so hard to make better choices about what we eat, and I’ve almost completely eliminated sweets and highly processed foods from my grocery shopping list. Of course I still buy donuts, but they are a treat – not for every day consumption. What I like about these Frusion C-Charged Smoothies is that they’re tasty and also good for Angeline!

The new Frusion C-Charged Smoothies are made with real fruit and creamy yogurt, and are actually nutritious.

If you have kids who are picky eaters, then you know that anything that tastes good and packs a nutritional punch is a lifesaver!

Frusion C-Charged Smoothies each have a full days worth of Vitamin C, 50% of your daily allowance of calcium, 20% daily allowance of Vitamin D, as well as 5 g of protein and 280 mg of potassium!

And guess what? There’s no high fructose corn syrup!

One of the best things about Frusion C-Charged Smoothies are that they are ready to go in a nice portable bottle. They’re perfect for grabbing on the way out the door and Angeline can just drink it on the way to school.

If you’re looking for a fun twist on lunchtime snacks, you can also freeze Frusion, and pack it in a lunch box or backpack! By the time lunchtime rolls around, it just needs to be shaken up and enjoyed!

These smoothies also make a great after school snack, which Angeline needs more often than not. Because her lunchtime is so rushed, she often just grabs something out of the vending machine, or eats a snack she’s brought from home. When I pick her up at 2:20, she’s ravenous! A smoothie waiting for her in the fridge means that she can have a quick snack and get started on her homework, or go riding bikes with her cousin without being famished! And because it’s a small portion, we don’t have to worry about her ruining her appetite for dinner!

Of course, these tasty Frusion C-Charged Smoothies aren’t just for kids…this mama often finds herself working straight through lunch on busy blogging days, and having an afternoon smoothie is just as beneficial for me as it is for Angeline!

There are plenty of different flavors of Frusion C-Charged Smoothies: Banana Berry, Strawberry, Peach Passion Fruit, Pina Colada, Wild Berry, and Kiwi Strawberry. Though, my grocery store just now got these in stock and they only had Peach Passion Fruit – which was fine by us, because we love peaches and make peach smoothies all the time!

Frusion C-Charged Smoothies are currently sold at the following retailers:

  • Wal-Mart
  • Publix
  • Market Basket
  • King Soopers
  • A&P
  • Fiesta
  • Brookshires

Since they are so new, you can actually try Frusion C-Charged for FREE right now through their rebate program! When you purchase Frusion C-Charged smoothies, you just fill out and mail in the rebate form found at www.freefrusion.com and you’ll receive a rebate of your purchase price. This would be a great way for me to pick up my C. I tend to fall way short on that all the time!

I’d love to hear how she likes them! We are trying the Berry flavor now and Angeline likes it better than I do. I think I just love peaches too much. LOL

Yum! I find myself missing meals due to wrangling a 3 and a 1 year-old. This could be a solution.

We love smoothies and I usually make my own, but these would be great in a pinch when I don’t have time to make them.

Definitely! I always keep cut up fruit in the freezer for quick smoothies but this is just too easy! 🙂

I haven’t tried them yet, but I am going to pick some up for my son, because he just won’t eat breakfast before going to school in the mornings. Maybe he can drink these on his way to school.

That’s just like Angeline! It’s much easier to get them to drink it on the way to school than to try to have them sit down and eat something before they leave in the morning.
