Potty Training the Animals App – The Potty Training App for iOS

One of my friends posted on Facebook the other day asking about a potty training camp; the program involves sending your potty-training toddler away to a sleep away camp for two weeks where they completely potty train them! As wonderful as it sounds to have your child come home completely potty trained, I can’t imagine parting with a precious baby for two weeks, can you? My friend was desperate to get help potty training but she hated the idea of not seeing her son for two entire weeks!

I think a lot of parents struggle with the same potty training issues – it can be very difficult to get your little ones potty trained! Luckily, there are tools you can use right at home to make the process easier, like this Potty Training the Animals app for iOS!

Potty Training the Animals allows your little ones to get in the right mood to ensure successful potty training by making the process fun! I think we all know that when something is fun, kids are more likely to want to do it!

Potty Training the Animals is the perfect app for developing a potty training ritual with your little ones because it teaches your child potty training in a fun and interactive way. It sets a positive mood for potty training by making that sometimes frustrating task fun and interactive.

How is it interactive? The Potty Training the Animals app allows children to take an active role in taking the animals to go potty on time when they show the need to go. And don’t worry, it is all rated G – there are absolutely no inappropriate images or noises.

Take a look! This little kitty obviously has to go and once your child touches the little blinking arrow, they’ll see the adorable kitty go to the litter box.

Once your toddler touches the blinking arrow, they’ll see the kitten walk over to the litter box and relieve themselves.

This is an actual screen shot of the Potty Potty Training the Animals app – you don’t have to worry about it being graphic, it just shows the action of going to the potty itself and the look of relief and happiness once they go potty.

Doesn’t that kitty look happy using the litter box?

This is a great way to show your potty-training toddlers how happy it will make them to use the potty themselves!

Once the kitty uses the litter box, she does a little happy dance!

Starting potty training can be very stressful to parents and their little ones as well. Teaching your children how to identify when they need to go potty and making it to the potty on time is often a very sensitive issue fraught with emotion, hope and fear; but by turning the entire process into a fun game will alleviate much of the strain from classic potty training issues!

How Will Potty Training The Animals App Help You?

Potty training the animals will set a positive mood for potty training.
All around this color and animated farm are cute little farm animals. Your toddlers can relate to the animals as they make funny ‘gotta-go-to-the-potty’ dancing movements. The animals even feel butterflies in their stomachs, just as inexperienced youngsters learning bathroom rituals do.

I think this is one of the most important features of the app: teaching very young children to identify the feelings that mean that they need to go potty. I remember from my own days of potty training Angeline that the hardest part was teaching her how to tell when she needed to go!

The Potty Training the Animals app makes the task fun and interactive.
Getting kids excited about something is the best way to get them to want to do it! By actually helping the animals go to the potty by interacting with the app, little ones are more likely to understand the entire process.

Kids love the story behind the Potty Training the Animals app and its characters.
As you can see, the farm scenes and the animals themselves are totally adorable. Most little kids have a special fascination with animals like cats and dogs, and these little characters will draw their attention!

Using this hands-on approach in combination with the fascinating animal attraction is a sure fire way to help toddlers learn to use the potty with less stress.!

Potty Training the Animals
 app Features:

  • Great narration voice. It’s cultured and slightly British and is very nice to listen to.
  • Stunning designs, fabulous colors. The app is colorful and vibrant.
  • Animated funny animals. I really like how this app is animated. The variety of “happy dances” after using the toilet were always fun to watch.
  • Familiar and fun ones (Dog, Cat, Dog, Chicken, Lion)
✓ Inclusive of both genders (Your child can pick a boy or girl icon)
  • No bodily noises or actual showing of pee or poo. Just a clean fun app.
  • The background sounds are not annoying. Some apps will make you want to delete them right away because of the background sounds, but this apps sounds were of nature; birds tweeting and the like.

The Potty Training the Animals app is $1.99 and can be downloaded in the iTunes store here. It is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 5.1 or later – and it’s optimized for iPhone 5!

What a cute app! I would have loved this when my son was little and I was trying to potty train him! 🙂 I’ll share this with my niece, who is just getting ready to potty train her daughter.

This looks great! We’re going to need to potty train soon, and I’m not looking forward to it. Are potty training camps are really thing? I can’t imagine doing that! This app is a much better idea :-). Too bad I need Android based apps.

This post is very timely. We are in the throws of training our toddler girl and she is just not having it. I think this app might help, since she loves animals. Also, the price isn’t bad for an app we’ll be using a while. Thanks for the review!

Very interesting. We used the Elmo potty song to potty train our five year old….maybe an app would work for our two year old – he loves my iphone!
