This pandemic has really thrown a monkey wrench in traveling. Summer is the time of year where everyone likes to take a break from the norm, go someplace they’ve never been, do things they’ve never done, and explore. Unfortunately, with the novel coronavirus still plaguing the world, there are restrictions that reduce where you can travel to and even what you can do once you get there.

    Post-COVID-19 Jet Ski Adventure List

You may not be able to travel much this year but you can escape the stress of it all by creating a wishlist of vacation ideas for after the pandemic is over. Not sure where to go or what to do? Why not take a jet ski adventure? Jet skis are so much fun. Whizzing back and forth on a beautiful body of water with nature and the clear blue skies as your backdrop is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. Interested? Check out this list of best places to go jet skiing post-pandemic.

    Lake Michigan

Serving as shorelines for four different states, Lake Michigan is a very popular destination for water sports. With calming waters, beginners won’t have a hard time venturing out while still having a good time. After burning a few calories (and having a good time doing so), you can pacify that appetite with the Lake’s many surrounding restaurants, bars, and bistros. Then, finish your day with a bit of exploration, shopping, culture, and fun.

    San Diego Harbor

What’s a post-pandemic vacation wishlist without sunny California? If you enjoy the warm weather, sunny skies, and beautiful bodies of water, San Diego Harbor is the place to visit. Maybe try a San Deigo jet ski rental, put on your water clothes, and get ready for an awesome time.

As you coast along looking from your left to your right you’ll find everything from beautiful beaches to military ships and more. Of course, the fun doesn’t have to stop there. You’ll find a ton of other things to do in San Diego harbor like shopping and fine dining to museums and popular tourist attractions.

    Sand Island

Thinking of traveling to an exotic destination? Then take your jet ski adventures to Sand Island located near Honolulu, Hawaii. Known as a Hawaiian state park, it’s a very popular place for tourists and locals to visit. Rent some jet skis and travel along the smooth-sailing waters as you pass by beautiful mountaintops, beaches, and waterfalls. There are also other fun things to do on the water like snorkeling or sunset cruises.

That’s not all Sand Island has to offer. There’s also an area for camping, going for a hike, having a picnic, going fishing, or lounging on the beach.

    The Florida Keys

The west coast isn’t the only place to retreat for fun in the sun. The Florida Keys are a popular travel destination and the perfect place for a jet ski adventure. You’ll enjoy the amazing view of the clear blue waters as you pass by miles of beaches. After a while, you might decide to explore further. There are plenty of things to do on the water including renting a boat, snorkeling, parasailing, and much more.

Looking for more things to do in the Florida Keys? There’s an underwater park in Key Largo, Theater of the Sea and the Keys History and Discovery Center in Islamorada, the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, the Bahia Honda State Park in Big Pine Key, and the Keywest Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and Mallory Square in Key West. Not to mention the many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and shops spread throughout.

Sheltering in place and being restricted from traveling this summer really is a bummer. Add to that the many stresses of adjusting to life during a pandemic and you’ve got a recipe for emotional disaster. Keep that stress, depression, and anxiety at bay by taking some time to create your own post-pandemic travel wishlist. It might seem crazy at first, but as you begin looking at all the places you can go and things you can do, you’ll find your mood is suddenly lifted as you prepare for the better days ahead.
