I know it’s been a while since I shared a new app with you guys. I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had an opportunity to find any new fun apps for your kids! Well, today I want to share Pilo2: An Interactive Children’s Story Book-3D Animation-Puzzle-Music Game, a fun educational app for children that is available for iPods, iPhones and iPads!

Pilo2

Super cute, right?

You can view all of the details about Pilo2: An Interactive Children’s Story Book-3D Animation-Puzzle-Music Game in iTunes here, but I will give you an overview.

In Pilo2: An Interactive Children’s Story Book-3D Animation-Puzzle-Music Game, your children can choose the main character that they want, either a boy named Tommy or a girl named Sunny. They can go back and forth and choose a different character each time they play too, which makes it lots more fun! This is also a great way to let your son and daughter both enjoy the app if they prefer to choose the same gender as themselves. Two choices means no arguing over getting their own app!

Once your child chooses their character, they can begin to decorate Pilo!

Pilo has lots of different clothing options to choose from, all you have to do it touch Pilo to begin interacting.

Why the interactions? As your child plays with Pilo scene after scene, this fun interaction will make them more interested in reading!

A few examples of interactions with Pilo include:

  • Playing the piano – Banging on the piano keys makes a sound. What will happen to the bluebird Pipi if you bang on the key on which Pipi sits?
  • Winding up a spring – Oh, my goodness! As the bluebird Pipi got excited, the spring stopped. How can you make Pipi move?
  • Playing the drum – Practice the drum, which Pilo learned from Tommy.
  • Music puzzle – You can put the puzzle together by moving music lying on El’s podium.
  • Performing the ensemble – Complete the ensemble that you’ve practiced. If you touch the character, it plays a sound, and the ensemble is completed!
  • Characters’ finale dance – Each character dances when touched.

Through Pilo2: An Interactive Children’s Story Book-3D Animation-Puzzle-Music Game, your children can experience the amazing world of imagination with Pilo, a friendly, warm pillow doll!

The sweet characters of Pilo are sure to inspire sweet dreams for your children. What better bedtime story to read than one that encourages a love of reading and gives your little ones warm and fuzzy feelings?

Of course, you don’t have to just go by my opinion that the Pilo2: An Interactive Children’s Story Book-3D Animation-Puzzle-Music Game is a ton of fun, their awards speak for themselves!

OMG… I know a grown man who still talks about his pillow like it’s a character. He so needs this.

Those are so adorable! The option to play as different characters is fantastic! Fostering a love of reading should start at a young age and I like how this one does it but in a ‘non-educational’ setting.

I love finding interactive apps for my son. They are so much more interesting to him than those that he just listens to or looks at. I love that you can customize your character too.

I love checking out new apps. I do a lot of work with technology and my special education students. Anything that lets you customize a character is usually a hit with them!

That’s great to know! I know that my daughter loved those paper doll apps where she could change their clothes, and this reminded me of that aspect!
