I love Chinese food. Seriously. I love it. Sometimes I live off of it for days at a time. That's why I'm excited that I can get the delicious flavors P.F. Chang's Home Menu, in the freezer section of my grocery store. P.F. Chang's Home Menu brings all the flavors that I love to the frozen aisle, so I can have it any time we want.
P.F. Chang's Home Menu - Spicing Up the Week
P.F. Chang’s home menu bring bold, flavorful dishes to my home, and I thin that's pretty darn great. Their portioned perfectly for two people, which is great since we're not big fans of leftovers.
Their frozen sides and entrees use authentic Asian ingredients and cooking techniques designed by the founder of P.F. Chang's, Philip Chiang. These aren't ordinary frozen dinners. Their quality cuts of beef, white meat chicken, and shrimp are paired with crisp, colorful veggies, tender noodles, and bold, full-flavored sauces. When I make this stuff, I feel like I'm in a restaurant. That's how good it tastes and smells. It's one of the best ways we've found to take the "blah" of Wednesday and turn it into something exciting.
Aside from being delicious, they're easy. That means I can focus on what we need or want to do rather than spending a bunch of time in the kitchen, slaving over a stove. All we need is P.F. Chang's Home Menu, and we're good to go in no time.
Our Wok Wednesday with P.F. Chang's
I started with the Sweet and Sour Chicken from P.F. Chang's and I used a simple white rice with a little coconut milk as the base - it was an awesome twist on the whole "sweet and sour" taste! Of course you don't want to use too much coconut milk or it will overpower the delicious flavors of the Sweet and Sour Chicken. I used a half of a cup for the entire package of white rice. You can use an instant rice or a microwavable pouch of rice and add a few tablespoons of coconut milk once it's cooked if you're making a serving for one or two people.

Sweet and sour chicken is an old favorite. This looks terrific. Does it come that colorful, with all of the veggies, or did you "spruce it up"?

I;ve seen those in the stores and wondered about them. I'd have to read the ingredients before I buy, but I sure love their restaurant.
