Last month, my friend - the wonderful blogger Trisha from Mom Dot - had a baby. Shortly afterward, she was invited by the Jamaican Tourist Board to visit Jamaica to experience all of the family-friendly fun that the island has to offer. Unfortunately for Trisha, she knew that she was not going to be able to make the trip, as she had a new infant to care for.
Fortunately for me, Trisha is a clever gal; she had the great idea to send a writer in her place. I offered to go...I mean, after all, I am a tropical living kind of girl, and I love to travel and I often take my daughter on trips! Spending five glorious days on the sandy beaches of Jamaica - well, that's just my style.

And guess what? Trisha thought so too! So in two days, I'll be boarding the 7:40 pm flight out of Miami to Montego Bay...to go to Jamaica.
To. Go. To. Jamaica.
*insert squeals of delight here*
I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am! I would snap a photo but I just had my eye brows waxed this morning and it looks like I am wearing red Kool-Aid goggles!
I've packed all of my cutest bathing suits, bought a travel-friendly size bottle of SPF 30 and made sure the batteries were charged on my waterproof camera and the iPad2. My favorite sunhat is carefully rolled up and tucked into my suitcase.
I'm ready!
