I love shopping. I love walking into a store and seeing a rainbow of colors before me, the glittering of housewares, the smell of new leather in the shoe department...really, what's not to like about going shopping? Shopping = endless possibilities!
There are so many awesome little shops in Miami, and it's quite difficult to choose a favorite. I prefer to shop at small businesses - as a small business owner myself, I know firsthand how crucial every customer is to an independently-owned business!
I love Cauley Square, a historic little village of shops and restaurants not too far from where I live. There's a sweet little store called O'Sew Crafty where local artisans sell their handmade arts and crafts. It's run by a mom and her daughter, and they always recognize me when I pay them a visit. It's nice to walk into a store and know that you've seen the same person behind the counter since you were a little girl - and now you're bringing your own little girl with you! Well, Angeline isn't so little anymore, but you get my point.
I love shopping there, especially at Christmastime! I buy so many adorable handcrafted ornaments, and have been buying Christmas and baby shower gifts there for years.
If only O'Sew Crafty had a website!
If they had a website, I could check in and see when they brought in new items, and maybe even order stuff online instead of paying a visit to the store itself. Everyone could buy their adorable crafty items if they had a website, not just us local Miami peeps in the know. Because Cauley Square is kind of a little best-kept secret in Miami, not many people know about it, let alone know about O'Sew Crafty!
I am totally nominating O'Sew Crafty in the Go Daddy No WebSitis contest!
