One of the things I love most about having a presence in the online world is my ability to make a difference.
It might be just to bring awareness to a new product or share an experience in a new travel destination, or something bigger, like share a cause with my readers - but within my little space on the Internet, I have a voice and I love that I can use it benefit others!
Today I am using my little voice to tell you about Irish Carter at Dedicated2Life.com. I've just nominated her for a Yahoo! Shine award!
Yahoo! Shine is celebrating extraordinary women across the country and asking us to nominate women who make a difference in the world around us.
At Dedicated2Life.com, Irish Carter blogs about making life matter. What could be more important than that message? Dedicated 2 Life is all about personal development, promoting others and helping people to reach and maintain their goals. I love this! Life is so short and I adore the way Irish celebrates life and strives to help people achieve their goals in order to live a happier life.
Dedicated 2 Life focuses on helping others to reach their personal best by offering a practical, healthy lifestyle approach. It is a place where people can discover their own personal power to change the way they feel about themselves.
We all know we want to be happier, but sometimes we need help figuring out HOW to achieve that happiness!
Through Dedicated 2 Life, Irish Carter hosts and promotes Passionate People, a program where Dedicated 2 Life interviews dedicated and passionate individuals and businesses across the world who are making an impact on others around them through positive attitude, creating positive change or giving back to others. Irish Carter is a shining example of how one person can make a difference in the lives of others, and that is why I've nominated her for the Yahoo! Women Who Shine contest.
Do you know a woman who shines? Someone that makes a difference? Go ahead and nominate her in the Yahoo! Women Who Shine contest, she could win $10,000 if she wins! If nothing else, it is a great way to show someone that you think they are amazing and give them a boost of encouragement!
