My 5 Minute Makeup Routine with Eyes Lips Face Cosmetics

I know that there are a lot of women out there who never wear makeup and think that it's a total waste of time.

I am not one of those women.

I love makeup. I love doing my hair, I love wearing perfume.

    I love feeling pretty.

When friends tell me that they are too busy to wear makeup or that putting on makeup takes too long in the morning, I have to laugh. My makeup routine takes me all of 5 minutes!

Now making my super curly hair straight, sleek and shiny? That's a whole other ballgame...

Putting on my makeup in the morning is just part of my routine. I have very curly hair and I always wear bangs, so I have to straighten them almost every day. I straighten them with my flat iron and then I blow dry some shape into them so that they don't lay flat on my forehead. While I am already in front of the mirror doing that, I go ahead and throw on my makeup.

It's light. It's natural looking. It's super easy! Earlier this week, I went shopping at my local Target to pick up some new eyes lips face cosmetics - or as I like to call it, e.l.f. makeup! - to add to my cosmetics case. With Angeline going back to school Monday, she helped herself to a lot of my makeup, so it was the perfect excuse to go shopping!

Besides, e.l.f. is so inexpensive, do you really need an excuse to buy a $1 eyeliner or lip gloss? I found a ton of #eyeslipsface makeup at Target in the beauty isle and most of it was only $1!

You can read all about my shopping trip for eyes lips face cosmetics at Target in this Google+ story.

I especially love that e.l.f. has a ton of lip glosses, lip sticks and lip balms - all for $1 of course! I am a total lip gloss addict, so I love that I can buy a ton of different ones and not feel guilty about the price tag! These e.l.f. lip glosses would also be fantastic to use as birthday gifts - grab a gift card at Target and throw in an e.l.f.  lip gloss or two to make the gift a little extra special. I always give Angeline lip glosses and lip balms in her Christmas stocking as well - they make great last minute type gifting options!

And eye liner? Oh my. Between myself and Angeline, we go through a ton of eye liner! Again, the e.l.f. eye liner is all just $1, so we can afford to experiment with different ones and not worry about wasting money! I love that eyes lips face cosmetics have lash and brow gloss too - we both have curly eyebrows (I know, embarrassing fact about me) and use this to keep them tame. Think hairspray, but for your eyebrows!

Want to see my makeup routine? It's very easy!

This is my naked face. I go for a natural look during the day, so you won't see a huge difference, just a slightly better version of me!

First, I apply an all over face powder and then a highlighter on my cheeks and nose. I'm using that fluffy powder brush from eyes lips face cosmetics here! It was really soft and didn't scratch my skin, unlike some brushes that come with the powder that I use.

Then I brush my crazy eyebrows into place. Don't laugh!

Then I line my upper eyelids with black eyeliner, and brush on a purple eye shadow. I have green eyes and the purple makes them pop!

Then, the e.l.f. lip gloss. I love a light, natural color. Eyes lips face cosmetics had about five different shades to choose from at my Target, and I bought the one with a tint of brown in it - it compliments my tanned skin! I have small lips, so dark or bold colors just look weird on me! I find that dark colors on my lips actually make them look smaller. No thanks!

Of course, after I finish my makeup, I have to do something about my flat bangs...after a quick spritz with hairspray and a shot of hot hair from the blow dryer, I'm all set for the day!

My #eyeslipsface beauty routine - especially for #Cbias

See? That was incredibly easy and super fast! Who doesn't have 5 minutes to spare for that?

Also? It's really hard to photograph yourself while putting on makeup, so please don't judge me too harshly for the poor quality of these photos!

I really like eyes lips face makeup because while it is inexpensive, it isn't cheap - it is a great quality brand that holds up well and does a great job! Most of the e.l.f. products are only $1, but they do offer more expensive foundations and eyebrow kits for $6 - and makeup remover facial cleansing cloths for $3. Seriously? Most makeup lines start at $6!

You can find out more about the entire eyes lips face (e.l.f.) product line on the eyes lips face website or by following them on Twitter and liking their Facebook page.

Pretty lady! Very natural. I am known for my insanely pink lipsticks. LOL. But I go more subdued and natural at times. Make-up reflects my mood.
