One of the coolest parts of my job as a blogger is that sometimes companies ask to send me really cool stuff for my "editorial consideration."
That basically means that brands want to send me goodies in the hopes that - if I like them - I will tell all of my readers about them. For a long time, I was saying no to this stuff because I was traveling a lot and trying to save space on my blog for recipes, sponsored posts and stories about my travel. And...because my home office looked like an episode of Hoarders could be filmed in there. It was kind of embarrassing!
Well, now that life has returned to normal - as normal as it ever gets for us - I've started saying yes to certain things.
Like hair product especially made for curls. Cuz I have a lot of curls. And they're a pain to manage!

Sometimes I get offered to check out new clothing lines, the kitschy graphic tees by LA’s newest line, Tequila Sunrise Couture.
Tequila Sunrise Couture
Available this January with prices ranging from $49 - $60, Tequila Sunrise Couture offers up super cute tee shirts for every personality. I originally accepted this pitch thinking that Angeline would like their tees, but they were so cute and comfy that once they arrived, I totally stole them.
Who doesn't love to cheer themselves up on a dreary fall day with a cute Watermelon tee? You can check out their selection and mark your calendars for their debut in January on TequilaSunriseCouture.com.
And whenever Hen House Linens comes knocking, I always answer with a yes, yes, yes! I do a lot of recipes here on the blog, and let's face it, everything looks better with a pretty background!
Hen House Linens
You can find all kinds of pretty linens for your table - during the holidays or year round - at Hen House Linens. Created by Jenny Davis of North Carolina, Hen House Linens is all about making the people you welcome into your home feel comfortable and cared for. I love that mentality because really, why would we want our house guests to feel any other way?
Hen House Linens has everything from aprons to oven mitts, to chargers, table clothes and napkins!
When I'm not entertaining the family or friends, I love using their pretty napkins to dress up my food photography!
Printic App for iPhone
I love my iPhone and take a million photos with it when I am out and about. Sometimes I use it around the house instead of lugging out my DSLR. One of the easiest ways to print out your mobile photography is using Printic, an iOS app by PrintiCapp! They sent me a code for six free photos and I just loved how easy it was to use their service.
You simply open the free app, select your photos, edit them if you wish to add anything, and place your order right through the app! Prints are .99 each and they arrived in just three days!
I think they're totally adorable, and they come out looking just like little Polaroid prints! You can download the Printic App for iPhone here.
I spent so much time not accepting cool products from brands that I almost forgot how much fun it is to try out new stuff!
Is there anything new you've been playing around with lately?
Mellisa
This is a great app. I can't believe I haven't heard of it yet. I'll have to check it out.

Hen House Linens does have pretty things 🙂

I have been thinking about integrating a few more products back in myself. Maybe a weekly goodies round up & giveaway.
Colleen
Definitely a fun perk, what I wish is that I could ditch the full time job and just do this instead LOL. Maybe one day when my kids are on their own. It is always fun to try new products, especially products I would otherwise not have purchased.
Angela
Getting to try out products in exchange for my opinion is definitely fun! I love the print of those napkins and pot holder by the way!!
Stefanie
I need that blow dry lotion.

They all look awesome! I hadn't heard of any of them, so it's great to have some new 'finds'. 🙂

I pass a lot of reviews because of my hectic schedule, but it's always nice to have an opportunity to review an awesome product when I'm not so busy! Looks like you reviewed some pretty cool things lately. I love that watermelon tee!

I just started doing a round-up like this on my blog too. 🙂 So! Much! Stuff! Well, for me, so much food. That app is awesome--I have so many photos on my phone!
Tammy
I love trying out new things and then if I like them suggesting them to family, friends and blog readers, I've already created a list of items I've seen on other blogs that I want for Christmas!
