Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for the Crystal Mickey Review & #Giveaway

I won’t lie, I’ve always been a fan of Mickey Mouse. Even from way back when, when I was a wee one. When I heard that there was going to be a new show on Disney Jr that would be all about Mickey I may or may not have been more excited then my kids.

Since the shows release we have been loyal watchers (yes I said we, what about it?). While my oldest is getting to the stage where he is outgrowing the fascination of Mickey, my youngest (who is five) is still very much Mickey-obsessed.

On May 21st Disney Junior released a new Mickey Mouse Club House movie, The Quest for the Crystal Mickey. Being big Mickey fans, we immediately put the movie on as soon as we got it. I received a complimentary copy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for the Crystal Mickey to facilitate this review, though all opinions are my own. 

One thing I personally liked is the DVD not only includes the new movie, The Quest for the Crystal Mickey but it also includes four additional episodes of Mickey Mouse Club House. That’s like getting five Mickeys for the price of one, ya’ll!

About Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for the Crystal Mickey

The Quest for the Crystal Mickey has it all. Mystery, a good chase (kid-approved of course), a little suspense with the hero aka Mickey and crew finding the treasure! In this movie Pete is up to no good when he steals the Crystal Mickey.

What is the Crystal Mickey you ask? It’s what keeps the magic alive in the Clubhouse, so without it the Clubhouse is in danger of disappearing…forever.

Does Mickey and friends get the Crystal Mickey back in time?  You’ll have to check it out for yourself to see how this mystery ends.

As for my kids? They LOVED it. I won’t admit how many times we have watched it in the last few days but I will tell you that even my nine year old loved it.

My youngest especially loved that he got to wear a hat like Mickey’s. He’s even worn it to the grocery store.

If your little one’s watch Mickey Mouse Club House they may have already seen the additional episodes or they may be completely new to them. Three of the four episodes my kids have never seen so it was fun watching them ohhh and ahhh over them.

Not only does the DVD includes four extra episodes of Disney Junior’s Emmy-nominated series “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” (over 2 hours of content!) but it includes a free Adventure Activity Map and stickers too!
