Magical Genies Bring Out the Worst in Me...

If you came upon a magic genie who could grant you ONE wish for YOURSELF…what would you wish for?

What would make the biggest difference in your life? No ‘world peace’ wishes here people.

We want you to be selfish for once and think of yourself and what you want for you and nobody else. So? What’s your wish?

If I had one wish, it would be to be immortal. Yeah I dream big, folks.

I had a talk with my daughter a while back about wish-granting genies and when I told her my wish would be to live forever, she couldn't wrap her head around that concept.

"Aren't you afraid of watching everyone you love get old and die?" She asked me.

"No. I'd be around to love my grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, etc. There would always be someone new to love." I explained.

"Wouldn't you get bored living forever, always having to find new husbands when they died and trying to support yourself forever?" She asked, still confused as to why immortality was such a big deal to me.

"Fine. I don't want to live forever. I want to be invisible so that I can spy on people and rob banks." I told her.

"What? You want to be a criminal?!" She was appalled and I couldn't blame her.

"Well, if I can't live forever, I at least want to make the few short years I do have on this earth the best they can be. If I am invisible, I can travel for free because I will just sneak onto planes and fly wherever I want. And then the money I've stolen from banks while invisible will pay for my extravagant lifestyle and send you to Harvard." I went on in detail about all of the things I could when invisible.

    She wasn't impressed.

If I ever do come upon a magical, wish-granting genie, I sure hope he doesn't have the conscious of my 14 year old daughter...

      LOL!

If I could have one wish granted, I would wish that my children would be happy forever.

I was assuming that I could buy my daughter's happiness with the money I stole from banks, but she disagreed. LOL

Well I would wish for my 2nd child to not have been stillborn.

But if the wish has to be a tangible item that you could buy with money, I'd want a minivan. 🙂

I like how your daughter thinks....and being invisible would rock. You could pick your nose right in front of people HAHA. Wow, I'm sure there's a lot more you could do too but I've had a couple beers and nose picking is where my head is at. Maybe I should head to bed!

Having a conscience is no fun when you have a wish granting genie. I'm not sure what I'd wish for. Being invisible would be pretty cool.

I'd also accept the ability to fly or to read minds...anything I could turn into a profit or that would get me to Europe for free LOL!

I figured, if I was invisible, I could rob the banks and use that money to pay off my house! 🙂
